The Shining Beacon

The airship that you and Yang were on has finally docked and you two walk off... not before seeing Vomit Boy running over and hunching over a trashcan.  You can hear what happens.  You shudder and check your clothes to make sure you didn't have any puke on them.  Once you confirm the lack of bile, you continue walking with Yang down the path to the school front.

Both of you look up and down, taking in the sheer scale and beauty of Beacon Academy.   Long distance views and video footage you two have seen never did it any justice.

Y/N and Yang: "Wow..."

Y/N: "Talk about gargantuan..."

Yang: "The view from Vale's got nothing on this."

You, however, are QUICKLY distracted from the view and start observing the weapons of random passersby.  Stars form in your eyes as you start nerding out over everyone's weapons.

Y/N: "OH MY GOSH, SIS!  THAT KID'S GOT A COLLAPSIBLE STAFF!!  AND SHE'S GOT A FIRE SWORD!!!"

You begin to wander off to get a closer look at other people's weapons, but Yang grabs you by your hood and pulls you back to her side.

Y/N: "Ow, ow, owww..."

Yang: "Easy there, little brother.  They're just weapons."

You get mildly offended by Yang's words.  How dare she reduce them to "just weapons?"

Y/N: "JUST weapons?!  They're an extension of ourselves, Yang!  They're a part of us!  And oh, they're so cool..."

Yang: "Well, why can't you swoon over your own weapon?  Aren't you happy with it?

You let out an offended scoff and unfold Crescent Rose into its scythe form, holding it tightly by your side.

Y/N: "Of course I'm happy with Crescent Rose!  But I know this weapon inside and out, those are weapons I don't know!  It's like meeting new people... just without any of the whole 'getting to know you' stuff, which is a part I'm happy to not have to deal with."

Yang playfully pulls your hood down over your face, causing you to respond with an 'ack!' sound.

Yang: "Y/N, come on, why don't you go try and make some new friends?"

You quickly pull your hood off of your face and put it back down.

Y/N: "I... can do that later.  You're the only one I know here, so... 

You jump up and grab on to Yang, wrapping your arms and legs around her, much to her discomfort.

Y/N"... you're stuck with me, sister!"

Yang quickly peels you off of her and makes a little bit of distance so you can't do that again.

Yang: "Well as nice as that sounds..."

A crowd of students suddenly surround Yang and are dashing down the path to Beacon with her in tow.  The speed of the crowd is causing you to spin and get dizzy from it.

Yang: "My friends are here and I gotta go catch up! 'Kay, see ya, bye!"

Yang dashes off with her friends, completely ditching you.  You're still dizzy and spinning from the whiplash of it all.

Y/N: "Wait, where are you going?!  Aren't we supposed to go to the dorms?  Where are the dorms?  Are there even dorms?!"

You manage to stop spinning once everything has calmed down but you're still dizzy and barely holding yourself up.

Y/N: "I am completely lost and don't know what I'm doing..."

You fall backwards into a luggage cart that rolled up behind you, sending cases of luggage to flying.  You get slightly buried by the cases.  The person who owns these cases is NOT happy about this and she yells at you.
