Mia Lorena. The girl with (lung disease). She's been living an isolated life. She's been in the hospital since she was seven. Now she's seventeen. Mia wears  tube that is connect from her nose to a small gas tank that helps her breathe bit she doesnt need it all the time.Mia is a very talented girl. Since she doesn't go anywhere she had a lot of time to learn new hobbies, languages and enhance her intelligence. She thinks that might all go to waste because she needs lung transplant and has been on the waiting list for atleast ten years.

Luke Aguilera. The boy with (heart disease). He's been in the hospital since he was ten. He's now seventeen. Luke has been on the waiting list for nearly 7 years to get a heart transplant. Luke is a very talented artist. He can draw anything from memory. He uses drawing as a coping mechanism. He poured out his emotions, frustration and thoughts into his masterpieces

Luke will soon be transferred to Saint Harlem Hospital. The same Hospital that Mia is located in. The only person that has been with Mia since childhood is Ryan. Ryan has the same illness as Mia, so they both understand what the other feels and how it is to through it. Ryan has had the illness longer than Mia. He been in the hospital since he was five years old and has been on the waiting list for nearly thirteen years. He wears a tube that enters in his nostril and is connect to a small oxygen tank, the same as Mia but he needs to wear his all the time.

Luke sits in his hospital bed, drawing when a doctor enters. "Hello Luke" she puts her clipboard aside and unhooks Luke from the different tubes and machines."Morning" Luke replies looking up from his sketch book to the tubes being unhooked. Luke's mom enter the room nd walkes tot the other side of his now old bed.. His mom brushed a strand of his hair away from his face and smiles.  He smiles slightly then turns his attentionto the doctor"Am I being transferred today?" Luke looks at the doctor in curiosity.

"Yes. You're going to Saint Harlem Hospital. They are more likely to get you a new heart there" The Doctor says picking up her clipboard again. Luke's mother hold his hand "How long will he have to wait?" The Doctor sighed "I'm not really sure but it now reduces the time he has to wait." Luke leans back and sighed feeling frustrated "I've been waiting." The doctor puts her hand on his shoulder "I know and you're so strong for that but there's not much we can do. That's why we are taking you to Saint Harlem. Don't worry they will take good care of you." She reassures him.

Luke knew there was a possibility he might not get the heart which is what infuriated him. What would switching hospitals do for him. He just nodded his head. Luke's mom held her son's hand. "You will get a new heart.....just be patient". He mentally rolls his eyes. He has been patient for nearly a decade.

Three other nurses came into the room. The doctor clapped her hands together "Alright Luke. They are ready to take you to your new hospital. It was lovely having you and we wish you all the best in your guture journey." Luke watched the nurses pack his bags and get a wheelchair ready for him. "Thank you Doc. For everything you've done for me." The doctor smiled and nodded.

Luke got of the bed and walked to the wheelchair. The nurse pushed him out of the room while his mom followed him with his belongings. The led him to the car. He got in the back seat. The nurse spoke up "They know that you're on the way. I really do hope you get a new heart because you deserve it. You will always be apart of this hospitaland we will never forget you" she said smiling. Luke smiled back and nodded "Thank you for everything". Luke's mom hugged the nurse then got into the drivers seat.

She started the car and drove off. "Are you okay honey?" She asked, her tone laced with worry "Yeah" Luke answered while looking at the hospital become smaller and smaller. The drive was about 2 hours. All Luke did was draw what he thought the hospital looked like. He poured out emotions and thoughs onto his masterpiece.

After what felt like the longest two hours later they finally arrived. The hospital came into view and he became anxious. He's never been in a any otherhospital before and know he has to adjust to everything, to the new nurses, doctors and the environment. His mom looked at him through rearview mirror "We are here. Are you ready?". Luke looked at the hospital again and nodded hesitantly"Yes."
