Seoul Art University
Felix arrived at the university parking lot, gripping the steering wheel as he pulled into a spot. From his angle, he could already see Hyunjin's car-a sleek black vehicle parked neatly. He squinted, noting the faint outline of Hyunjin sitting in the driver's seat. "Great," he muttered to himself, his nerves bubbling up.
He pulled out his phone, sending a quick text:
Just got here. I'm making my way to your car now. From his car, he could see Hyunjin glance through the driver's side window, his sharp eyes scanning the area. Felix sighed, stepping out and brushing invisible lint from his sweater. He felt a mix of emotions swirling in his chest-nervousness because he'd skipped their class this morning without warning Hyunjin, and something he couldn't quite name. Excitement? Why would he be excited to see Hyunjin?
"Never mind," he muttered, shaking the thought away as he approached the car. He tapped gently on the driver's side window. Hyunjin rolled it down, his face calm but his gaze sharp.
"You really couldn't tell me you weren't coming to class this morning?" Hyunjin's voice was controlled, but the irritation was clear.
Felix gave him a sheepish look, his lips tugging into a nervous smile. "I can explain," he said quickly.
"Okay," Hyunjin replied with a sigh, unlocking the car. "Get in."
Felix nodded and walked to the front of the car, making his way to the passenger side. As he moved, Hyunjin found himself watching him closely-too closely. Felix's outfit was simple but effortlessly striking. The sweater he wore clung perfectly to his frame, hinting at the lean muscle underneath, and the confidence in his stride made Hyunjin's stomach tighten. Why does he look so freaking cute and sexy at the same time? Hyunjin wondered, annoyed with himself.
Felix slid into the car, shutting the door behind him. He clasped his hands together in a mock-prayer gesture and turned to Hyunjin with an apologetic grin. "I'm really, really, really sorry," he began. "It was a work emergency. A huge deal. I was rushing, and I couldn't make time to talk to you. I'm so sorry."
Hyunjin crossed his arms, one eyebrow arching. "Fine, but you still had time to tell the lecturer?"
Felix winced, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well... yeah. I tried to talk to you, but for some reason, I don't know, I just couldn't. So I told her instead. I know I should've-"
Hyunjin held up a hand, cutting him off. "Okay, fine. Whatever." He leaned back in his seat, trying to stay annoyed, but his eyes betrayed him. Felix's voice was warm and animated, his soft features brightening as he spoke. Even upset, Hyunjin couldn't stop looking at him.
Felix paused mid-sentence, his gaze flickering downward. His eyes caught on Hyunjin's outfit-a loose cardigan with nothing underneath. The fabric shifted slightly, revealing hints of toned abs and the faint line of his V-shape dipping toward his hips. Felix swallowed hard, feeling a sudden chill that had nothing to do with the car's temperature. He snapped his eyes back to Hyunjin's face, his cheeks heating.
