I took out the egg salad bread that I had in my inventory. I took a bite and felt the crunchy texture.

As expected, the combination of eggs, apples, and strawberry jam could not be bad.

['Yu Bom (F)' ingested the 'egg salad bread.']

['Yu Bom (F)'s energy has been restored by 10%.]

"I think it's going to take a long time, so Hunter-nim, sit over there and take a rest."

He shook the egg salad bread and beckoned the neatly organized corner after finishing the skylight.

"Don't go too far."

"Yes."

He walked away without refusing. I looked at his expression, wondering if it was really boring, and his eyes were still facing me.

'I guess he just left because I asked him to do it.'

At first, that bluntness seemed scary, but now it is not at all. Hunter Chae Dong-hwa was an honest and good person, only talking like a machine.

'He's weird, but a nice person... He works really hard when asked to do something... You look black, though you're not small.'

As I worked on it repeatedly, my thoughts came to mind according to the flow of consciousness.

'By the way, didn't he say he's going to bring a gift when he comes back?'

I think it's been a while since he came back. He's been with me for a long time, and there's been a lot of timing to give me.

'Was it just empty talk? I don't think he's the kind of person to say empty words...'

He may have forgotten. He's a loose person in strange parts.

I was thinking about this and that and doing repetitive mining work, but something shiny yellow from a little far away.

'What is that?'

As I approached, there was a wooden box. There was a gleaming gold band around the edge of the box and a small keyhole in the middle.

Although the box looked old, the metal around it glowed and looked luxurious.

This looks like a treasure box I know from the cooking...

I heard in the Dungeon that if you're lucky you can get rare items from a treasure chest. This seemed to be the treasure chest.

The lock was not hung.

'Wow, awesome! Not only monsters won't come out. My luck exploded today!'

I grabbed the lid of the treasure box with excitement. As I leaned back, the box opened with a squeak and a sound.

"Ugh!"

A black mist gushed from inside. I fell backward in surprise.

The edge of the treasure chest was full of sharp teeth. A black mist formed into a lump and turned into arms and legs.

The slender limbs compared to the body felt bizarre. A slippery purple flesh protruded from the deep of the box.

"Uh, uh... What should I do..."

The purple tongue drooled as if it had seen an appetizing prey. I couldn't even speak properly at the chilling sight.

Soon, it opened the lid of the box and jumped at me.
