Yo the name is Angel, and the first day at a performing arts school was something beyond compared. I honestly thought it was gonna be fun at first. You know since it was a performing arts I was expecting random music around every corner, random people dancing up and down the hallways, random people harmonizing with each other, and the walls painted with bright colors. . . but it wasn't. It was like a loud cemetery we all looked dead yet no one knows the definition of shutting up,but I didn't mind. This was better than my quiet room. It was music to my ears.
The school was big . . . no wait that's a lie. the building was big, but the school was one out of the six schools in the building so it's not much of a school. there was five high schools and one middle school. I felt sorry for the middle schoolers because their school was just a short hallway while each high school gets a floor. but anyway enough sadness.
when I walked into the school I saw one of my friends I met in the summer her name was phoebe. "YO WHATS UP ANGEL HOW IT GOING "Phoebe said as she waved at me
while walking to her, I responded saying "ITS GOING GOOD HOW IS YOU "
She replied back saying " I IS GOOD ,YASS"
"yyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassss" ,we both sheared yasses back and forth and laugh about it in the end.
Classes starts at 8:15 but I got there earlier to avoid the entire lines. I like getting there early because the more time that I spend in school, the less time I would spend at home. As time passes by phoebe and I kinda gave our self the tour of the school and as I look around . . . I SEE NO CUTE BOYS. But I shouldn't care. No guy would like a thick girl with bad acne all over her face.
"ANGEL" a loud shout came from behind me. Out of confusion I broke my neck to see who it is. It was ciara. Ciara is also one of the people I met in the summer. Phoebe and I walked over to her and she
said "Hey how was your summer"
I replied saying that it was good yet stressful because I was back then and still to this day, A struggling Christian. I got baptized in the middle of august. I thought this would change my life forever, and it did but not the way I expected it to be. I feel like I am on the borderline of heaven and hell. I want to go to heaven yet I feel like i'm falling right into hell. Believe me, it's scarier than it sounds. It's about to be 8:15, and more people are coming into the building. In the distance I spotted two more of my friends from the summer, but before I move on I should tell you about the summer.
LPP, liberty partnership program, it's a summer program that will get you ready for high school then get you ready for college. Not that I was gonna go to college anyways. They only have two classes and for the rest of the day we go to workshops. These workshops where in my opinion, based on life and, based on our prodigies like singing, dance, and even directing. now back to the story.
I spotted two more of my friends from LPP their names are Mikayla and Greg. They were best friends since kindergarten. At first I thought they were dating because they spend a lot of time together, but I was wrong. They are just friends and I like that because there relationship proves that boys and girls can be just friends.
When the bell ring, it was time for my first period, living environment. My teacher name is Ms.Heartcell, she's a skinny blonde chick that's very positive about everything, she also wears bright colorful hippie clothes, all my teachers in the past were never like this; they were always depressed about their lives. So I really like her for that. Ms.Heartcell had a seating chart so I was sitting with two people that I already know from LPP,there names were brooks, the chick with something to say, and Gabriel, the guy who will do whatever he can to fit in with the popular crowd .There was also a new girl at my table.I introduce myself like a normal person would do, I think.
"Hey, my name is Angel what yours"
"Hi my name is Carter" she replied in a confident voice.
Carter is a small brunette with long hair. She looks like a ride or die chick. she was wearing a pink "okay? okay." sweater, and jeans. She's a tomboy, just like me.brooks started to talk to carter saying "so carter"
"yes" Carter responded politely
"so what's your schedule" brooks asked
It turns out that carter, brooks and I have the same classes every day and that was cool, we all could get to know each other.
When I look around my classroom, i realized my classroom is so diverse, but not by race alone, but With the social identities. there are jocks, nerds, the popular, the emo, excrete. And for the rest of us that has no social identities.
The only people I know that is in the first period class with me was Brooks, Geag, and Cierra. Out of the three of them Cierra was my friend at the time.
so as usual since this is my first year in a new school for all of us that Ms.heartcell let each of us say are name, age and what major we want to be in. As we all went around stating our names and stuff, i wasn't so surprised of how many people wanted to be in vocal.but i was very surprised to see that barely any one wanted to be a instrumental major. that would be a very cool major to be in, and afters all they perform and to on trips more times than any other major.
There were these two girls that sat across the room from me that wanted to be vocal majors. there names are Maranda and Josephine. Maranda was a tall skinny brunette that basically looks like a taller version of carter, which was crazy because both of them are skinny, brunettes and have long hair, although miranda's hair was a bit longer. but it's still crazy. the world would be completely off balance if they are not friends this year.
josephine was a thick brunette that have a lot of piercings on both ears. she also likes to say stuff with sound effects to make people laugh and it's funny. she was a person that I would like to be friends with. but I don't think that's possible because she looks like the type of person to hang with the popular crowd. and that's just something i'm not
so as the day went by, and as I see a flood of new faces, I almost forgot something. . .
