_Insight Inn meeting room_
The seven group leaders gathered around a polished wooden table, their faces illuminated by dim candlelight. Hades, masked and enigmatic, sat at the head...
After 2 weeks, Fallon is finally free from going back to the university...
Catherine's scandal goes down for a while so she's good to attend class while Calista is quite okay to her injury so she's ready to go too...
Hades held another meeting because of it...
"Good to see you all..." Fallon said, smirking as she goes to her seat and sat down...
"You're finally here. The hell missed you..." Damon said, teasing her.
"As they should! After all, I've been gone for a long time..." Fallon said, still smirking as she looked at Hades.
"How are you?" Ace asked Catherine.
"Shouldn't you be asking me?" Calista asked Ace.
"We know you're okay. We can see it..." Dean said, teasing her. Calista rolled her eyes and looked away.
"I'm okay..." That's the only thing that comes to Catherine's mouth.
"Enough asking. Tell me your concerns..." Hades said, straightforward.
"Arius, we need to discuss the sky's casino..." Fallon said, her voice dripping with greed.
"Whitney, Gale, and Lucifer are doing an excellent job managing it..." Hades said.
"The killing bet and Reaper's Gambit has become a huge success..." Ace said, a calculating glint in his eye.
"Students are eager to place bets on who'll survive the day..." Ace continued.
"It's a sick game, but it's making us rich..." Dean snorted.
Calista smiled, her eyes cold...
"As long as it doesn't affect our reputation, I'm all for it..." Calista said, smirking.
Damon leaned back, steepling his fingers...
"We should increase the stakes. Make it more enticing...." Damon said, Calista nodded...
"I agree! The higher the risk, the higher the reward..." Calista said, feeling excited.
Hades (Arius) remained silent, observing the leaders as they discussed the morality-bending game...
"Any other concerns?" Ace asked, scanning the room.
Catherine finally spoke up...
"We need to ensure the bets are evenly matched. No one group should dominate..." Catherine said, ensuring her own group.
Hades spoke, his voice low and commanding...
"Vivianne will review the betting system. Ensure fairness and excitement..." Hades answered.
The leaders nodded, acknowledging Hades's authority...
"We need a new game that can lighten up the mood..." Damon said, suggesting.
"I already planned it before you can even say a word..." Hades said as Whitney and Lucifer arrived, all smiley and giggling.
"Why are they here?" Dean asked Hades.
"I have a proposal..." Whitney said, a sly smile spreading across her face.
"A new game, one that combines our interests and exploits the university's enthusiasm for violence..." Whitney continued.
