Libby's POV
It was another beautiful day in Adventure Bay, and we were all relaxing.
While Elsa, Diane, Anna, Oliver, Marcus and Louie were playing with Lani, Rosalie, Marie, Mimi, Ace and Lylla, Marshall was making lunch for the twins.
"Daddy, Daddy! Something's wrong with Mommy!" Ellie cried as she ran into the kitchen.
"What is it, Ellie." Marshall asked in concern.
"Mommy's having chest pains." Ellie cried.
"Oh dear." Marshall said.
Marshall goes up to Everest who is clutching her chest.
"Will mommy be ok, daddy?" Toby asked.
"Mommy's gonna be fine sweetie, her heart is just acting up." Everest said.
"We better get you to the hospital, Everest." Marshall said.
Marshall rushed Everest to the hospital.
After Dr Stephanie examined Everest, she said, "Everest, you are having a heart attack."
"A heart attack? But that's impossible, I eat healthy, I get plenty of exercise, I take good care of my heart." Everest said.
"Well, you were born with a weak heart." Dr Stephanie said.
"A weak heart? What does that mean? Does that mean it's beating slower than it should?" Everest asked.
"Yes, this is called congenital bradycardia. If left untreated, this condition could be life threatening. So, we'll have to give you a heart transplant." Dr Stephanie said.
"What's a heart transplant?" Everest asked.
"Well, what we're going to do, is make an incision in your chest, take out your weak heart, and put a new heart into you. I already have a new heart for you, and it matches your blood and tissue type." Dr Stephanie said.
"Ok doctor, I trust you." Everest said.
In the OR, Dr Stephanie said, "Ok Everest, when I put this mask on you, count backwards from 10 and when you get to 5 you will start feeling sleepy."
"Ok." Everest said.
"Ok Everest, start counting backwards from 10." Dr Stephanie said as she put the mask on Everest.
Everest counted backwards from 10 followed by a yawn when she got to 5 and she fell asleep.
"Ok, she's asleep, let's begin the transplant." Dr Stephanie said.
In the waiting room, Marshall is praying for Everest to make it.
Blizzard also came into the waiting room with Ellie and Toby.
"Hey Marshall, what are you doing?" Blizzard asked.
"I'm praying for Everest to make it through her transplant." Marshall said.
(4 to 6 hours later.)
Dr Stephanie came into the waiting room with good news.
"Marshall, I have good news, the operation was a success, Everest's new heart is in place, and she'll be making a full recovery." Dr Stephanie said.
"Thanks, Doctor." Marshall said.
"You're welcome to see her if you want." Dr Stephanie said.
Marshall, Blizzard, Ellie and Toby went into the recovery room.
"We're glad you're ok, Everest." Marshall said.
Everest slowly started waking up.
"Where am I?" Everest asked.
"You're in the hospital, sis, you had a heart transplant." Blizzard said.
"Marshall, Ellie, Toby? Is that you?" Everest asked.
"It's us, mommy, we're glad you made it." Ellie and Toby said.
"Everest will have to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks, so I can monitor her, good thing she's in good condition." Dr Stephanie said.
"Ok, doctor." Everest said.
"Can I stay with Everest?" Marshall asked.
"Sure." Dr Stephanie said.
"Ellie, Toby, I have to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks, your father will be staying with me. Your Auntie Blizzard is going to look after you two while I'm in the hospital. Be good for Auntie Blizzard." Everest said.
"Ok, mommy." Ellie and Toby said.
Ellie and Toby licked Everest and Blizzard licked her too.
"See you guys when you get out of the hospital." Ellie and Toby said.
Blizzard, Ellie and Toby when back home.
