It had been a long hunt day for Jason. He had caught nothing and it had started to get dark. After realizing he was completely lost, he decided to eventually just walk in a straight line through the forest. After hours of walking with the trees blocking out the moon as his only light source, Jason had finally come across a small cabin in a clearing. Knowing how dark it was outside, he decided to see if he could stay the night. As he got closer, he realized the door was opened. He found no one inside, and being exhausted, he decided to plop down on the couch and explain to the owner in the morning.
Before falling asleep, he decided to look around for a minute while laying down. Jason was surprised to see the walls covered in self portraits, all with extravagant detail. They seemed as though they were staring right at him with looks of hatred and malice. He was growing really uncomfortable as he stared back at them. He decided to ignore them and turn toward the wall exhausted, and fell into a restless sleep.
The next morning Jason awoke, sunlight unexpectedly blinding him. The hunter's heart dropped in that moment, when he realized that there were no portraits, only windows.
