Jeanne pov
SLAP!
Me, Camilo, Azalea, Catherine, and Anne watched in shock as Abuela slapped Mirabel.
"ABUELA!" I yelled quickly, standing up, but dizziness and nausea hit me, and I slumped onto the table.
"Jeanne!" Camilo says, holding me up.
"Ok, that's it!" Cathrine yelled, getting up.
"WE'VE BEEN PAWNS IN THIS LIFE! WE'RE SICK OF IT!" Azalea yelled.
"Don't raise your voices at me, Jeanne, and Azalea madrigal," Abuela says sternly.
"I'm leaving!" Mirabel declared, leaving the dining room.
"Me too!" Azalea yelled.
"We're leaving too! We don't like this toxic household!" Cathrine and Anne yelled, running out.
"So am I!" I say, getting up camilo following me.
"Wait for me!" Antonio says, running after me as we retreat to our rooms.
"Antonio, stay outside. Go pack your things." I say as we reach my room. My door is different from the rest. My door glows red instead of gold, but my eyes are still brown. Camilo and I go inside.
"Jeanne? Are you ok...." Camilo says, but I pounce at him, pinning him down.
"Blood! I need blood!" I yelled wildly.
"Jeanne, stop!" Camilo says.
"Abuela won't give me the blood I need! I-it hurts." I say, then I get up covering my face.
"Jeanne?" Camilo says.
"I can't do it? I need blood? The thirst it hurts. But I don't want to become a monster." I say.
"Jeanne, you can drink my blood." Camilo says.
"You know you're an awful brother, I'm gonna become a monster because of you." I say.
"You're my twin, I hate seeing you hurting." Camilo says I leap at him and bit, his neck drinking until my thirst was satisfied.
"Thank you, Camilo." I say.
Camilo pov
I smile, seeing Jeanne's eyes glow red as her thirst is satisfied.
