The next morning;

Both teams TEAL and LIAC meet up at the school's lobby, at 7 instead of the original time because they both tried impressing each other by being there early; their attempts not working as team LIAC was arguing. TEAL watched silently for a few moments before interrupting. All teams were wearing warmer gear; skirts being replaced with jeans, waterproofed shoes, scarfs, jackets, and hopeless finger-less gloves that would only keep your palms warm.

 "What are you guys arguing about now?" Temperence asks.

"Ask Copper and Lukas!" Ace snaps.

"Stop whining about it bird brain!" Lukas snaps, "It's not my fault she got tired of you."

"And the love triangle starts again." Lily mutters.

"What are you two up to now?" Evan asks Lukas and Copper as if they'd answer.

"It doesn't matter, since we are all here early let's get moving?" Copper says. taking the leader role again.

"You aren't their fucking leader Copper." Ivory snaps, then clearing her throat, "Fine, lead the way."

Ace glares at his team before falling behind with the younger students. His face covered by a hood and scarf, so you wouldn't know if he was crying or not. Evan and Lily walked beside him, sometimes patting his back, or trying to start conversation. Aiden, Temperence, and Ivory walked in tow, with Lukas and Copper; who were leading them to one of the few airships at the back of the school. Ozpin probably had the older students set up on this mission to make sure there were no crashes. They stop standing in the falling snow;

"Do we have anything we should talk about before we go?" Temperence suggests.

"I'm not fond of talking to those who don't listen." Copper mutters as the airship's door opens, her and Lukas stepping in, Ivory following as the others stay outside for a moment.
"What did you do this time Ace?" Evan asks.
"I didn't do anything." Ace mutters, getting onto the ship as Lily tried stopping him.
"I'm really glad you picked the most dysfunctional team to work with us Temperence thanks." Lily mutters as her and Evan get onto the airship, Temperence glaring at them, until Aiden rests a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry about it, let's just get this mission finished okay?" Aiden says, as he leads Temperence to the inside of the airship, the steel door closing behind them.

Ace decides to set the auto pilot for the ship, to the chosen location that was outside out Vale. The snow growing more heavy, as Evan started complaining about airships not being safe with Lily joining in mockingly. Ivory sitting by herself; Ace sitting in a pilot's chair, Aiden and Temperence, sitting beside Lukas, who was sitting beside a sleeping Copper. Temperence glaring at Lukas while fiddling with her scarf.

"You can stop staring at me, you know that's not polite." Lukas says.

"What did you do to your team this time Lukas, your sister is very curious." Aiden states.
"Shouldn't you also be minding your own business?" Lukas asks Aiden.

"May I remind you, I could report you to Ozpin, for not completing your mission efficiently." Temperence states.
"I already got a failing grade on the last two missions I did." Lukas states.

"Who's fault is that?" Ace comments turning around to look at the rest of the group for a moment before sitting back in his chair staring out of the airships window.
"Your's and Ivory's who else's fault would it be?" Lukas says, shrugging, and then smirking, "Maybe the both of you should go back to being partners?"

Temperence glares at her brother one again, "I'm serious what has gotten into you guys?"
"You really need to get your nose out of my team little sister." Lukas sneers, "Be quiet, and try getting some sleep since we all were an hour early at our little meet up-"
"Lukas, please shut your mouth." Aiden snaps, before resting an arm on Temperence's shoulders, the girl getting the hint it was okay for her to sleep as he did so.

The teams rest in silence, the only one probably being awake being Ace. The airship pushing along to their destination which was a few hours away, the early winter weather getting worse as the trip continued.

 Author's note; This was actually the shortest chapter, it was basically a test write, to compare this and "Thus Forward" my other work. To attempt to have the characters act similar, and make sure I didn't make any unnecessary changes. Hopefully it's decent to read. Thank you for reading, I promise the next chapter will be longer.
