I lay in bed, my eyes closed, as memories of my past flooded my mind. I was eight years old again, standing in our mansion' rooftop, looking up at my mother with wide eyes.

"Mother, I'm scared," I said, my voice trembling. My mother knelt down beside me, her eyes filled with warmth and love.

"Jungkook, you're a big boy now," she said, her voice soft. "You have to be strong, not just for yourself, but for our family."

I nodded, trying to be brave. My mother smiled and hugged me tightly.

"Jungkook, I want to tell you something," she said, her voice serious. "You can't trust your father. He's not a good person."

I looked up at her in surprise. "Why, mother?" I asked.

"Because he's only interested in our property," she said. "He doesn't care about us. So, you have to be careful. Don't let him take everything from us."

I nodded, trying to understand. My mother's eyes filled with tears.

"Jungkook, I'm so sorry," she said. "I'm sorry that I won't be here to protect you. But you have to be strong. You have to take care of yourself."

I felt a surge of fear at her words. "Mother, what are you talking about?" I asked.

But before she could answer, the sound of gunfire filled the air. My mother's eyes widened in fear as she pushed me to the ground.

"Jungkook, hide!" she screamed. But it was too late. My mother's body jerked violently as she was hit by a bullet.

I screamed and screamed, but my voice was drowned out by the sound of gunfire. My mother's body slumped to the ground, her eyes frozen in a permanent stare.

I woke up with a start, my heart racing, my sheets drenched in sweat. It was just a dream, I told myself. But the memory of my mother's death still lingered, still haunted me.

As I sat up in bed, I remembered my mother's last words to me. "Beware of the Wang family, Jungkook," she had said. "They will stop at nothing to get what they want.

She was a strong and sweet woman, always fighting for what she believed in.

I remembered the way she had struggled against the illegal company projects that had threatened our community. She had been a fierce warrior, never backing down even when the odds were against her.

But what I remembered most was how her actions had provoked Wang, the ruthless businessman who had been behind many of the illegal projects. He had lost a lot of money and power because of my mother's efforts.

And in the end, Wang had taken his revenge by killing my mother. I felt a surge of anger and hatred towards Wang as I thought about my mother's death.

My mother had been a true hero, fighting against injustice and corruption. And she had paid the ultimate price for her bravery.

As I got out of bed and began to get ready for the day, my mind continued to wander back to my mother. I missed her so much, missed her guidance and her love.

I remembered the way she used to smile at me, the way she used to make me feel like I was the most important person in the world.

My mother had also worked tirelessly to build up the Jeon empire. She had poured her heart and soul into the company, sacrificing so much for our family's future.

But despite all her hard work, my mother had never received the recognition she deserved. She had always been content to work behind the scenes, never seeking to draw attention to herself.
