"Watch where you're fucking going, jackass!" I looked behind me as a tall, muscular boy shoved past me and headed in the direction of the southern side of campus. He had turned around and was giving me the death glare, all the while still walking to his destination. Who was that jerk? I mean the campus is big, but it's not too big, everyone knew everyone some way. I had three best friends, one of which knew everything about anyone. I would have to talk to her about the dark haired boy. I continued on my way to English, trying not to let the encounter mean anything to me, people were always in a hurry here, it was life. I spotted a girl across the courtyard and started to jog over to her.

"Quinn! Hey!" I waved as I made my way over to her, making her move her head up from the book she had her nose stuffed into. At first she looked confused and slightly irritated, but as soon as she saw me she broke out into a smile.

"Hey! How are you?! It's been what, months since I've seen you?! Where have you been? I thought that after that night you were never going to talk to me again." I wasn't going to actually, but I had thought a little more and decided that it wasn't her fault about what happened. She was one of my best friends after all.

"No, I just needed time for all the court stuff to get through and for everything to be okay again and lots of therapy." Quinn nodded like she understood even though I knew she didn't. Her family was perfect and her life was perfect. She had the perfect body and an amazing boyfriend that worshiped the ground she walked on. She had blonde hair that people would die for and a natural tan people would pay hundreds for. She was the spitting image of "perfection". It was like God put all His time into her and forgot the rest of the world. But that's just my opinion. I was pretty sure she only hung around our group so she looked better, physically and emotionally of course. I was just a dark brunette, almost black haired girl, with average looks and average intelligence. I don't have the "smart but sexy" thing going on. I've had my fair share of boyfriends, but nothing stuck.

"So, are we going to do something tonight? I mean it is Friday, or did you stop going out?" Quinn asked with almost a nasty attitude. Ever since that night I didn't really go out much, it was hard to trust friends and people when they are in that kind of environment. Quinn noticed my hesitation to the question.

"You need to get out, I'm going with you and we are going to have a great time. No arguments!" Quinn pouted her lips knowing that she could get whatever she wanted if she tried. I didn't really want to go out, but I know that the rest of the group had been wanting me to go out and now that I started talking to Quinn again I wouldn't have an excuse not to.

"Sure, I guess." I rolled my eyes as Quinn's face brightened and she stuck her arm through mine and started to head on to class. We were in the same building together, she had Physics on the bottom floor and I had English on the top.

"I can't wait to see what you wear, maybe I can come over to help, it could be just like old times..." Quinn rambled on and on as I zoned out. I kept thinking about the black haired boy who yelled at me earlier. I can't believe he did that, how rude! I got angry just thinking about it. Why did he think he could treat anyone like that?

"Cameron. Cameron!" Quinn waved her hand in front of my face.

"Where did you space off to?"

"Oh, no where, sorry. What were you saying?" I replied quickly, jerking myself back to reality.

"I was saying that we should get the gang together at your place and we could help each other find something to wear tonight." Quinn looked at me expectantly for an answer. I just nodded, which promoted a squeal out of her and another speech about what we could do. Before I knew it the ten minute walk to the building was over and I had to say goodbye to Quinn.
