“ so how has things been lately ?” I asked Gracie as we sat down on the sofa .
my parents were out , and most of the girls were doing their own things so I decided it was time for me and Gracie to catch up since we haven't really spoken after the whole Bible study .
“ well , things have been different at home in a really good way .
for the first time in a while , I've gone to church again and I even started reading the Bible you gave me , a little more .” she smiled , looking satisfied .
“ that's great , I'm so proud of you .” I smiled .
“ seriously ? you not just saying that to make me feel better ?” she asked .
“ of cause not , I'm saying it because I mean it .” she pouted .
“ you too sweet for this world .” I chuckled shyly .
“ if Gracie says it , then it's probably true .” she chuckled at my comment .
“ but on a serious note ....” the atmosphere shifted .
“ I've been working on a album that ... I'm not sure I should release just yet cause I'm nervous .” I frowned .
“ sounds interesting , what's it about ?” her smile faded .
“ like I said , I'm still really unsure of this one ...” her voice was low .
“ hey ? you can tell me . ” i said softly .
“ well , I was thinking of naming it ' daughter of God ' ” my eyes lit up .
“ wait , what ? that's , that's incredible !” I squealed as I began kicking my feet .
“ do you realise how happy I am for you ?! ” she finally had those heart eyes .
“ I'm so happy that you are !” she giggled , she is so cute .
“ you are cute too .” I blushed slightly .
“ omw , why did I blurt that out ?” I asked as I hid my face in the cushion .
“ that's okay , I do it too .” she continued laughing .
