The Goddess of Life, took one last sigh of resentment, looking at the world she has built up, from absolutely nothing. She leaned against the balcony, making sure to look at every little detail, as far as she could see. She never wanted it to come to this. She wanted peace. That's why she separated everyone who needed to be separated. That's why she booted Hades, far away where he couldn't do any harm. But it's all useless now. Because now, she has to do it.
She turns and goes back into her area step by step. What was once small steps, turned into large strides. Running. Sprinting. Soon, she arrived at the grand library.
The Grand Library was called that for a reason. Bookshelves went up to the ceiling, and a beautiful glass chandelier hung from the glass room that had suns and moons engraved into it, stars as well. Everything in the whole universe could be found in the Grand Library. Every literature a mortal has ever created books about every being. Everything. She had everything at her exposal. But... There was one book that was above all others. The first book that was placed in the Grand Library. The Book of Creation.
She exhales.
"It's still here."
She whispers. She walks over to it, hovering her hands over the barrier. Her eyes close, and she channels energy within her, and opens her eyes. The barrier releases, and she grabs the book, before setting it down and flipping through the pages, until she finds the right page. Her eyes light up, and she knows what she has to do. She is the only one who has this book engraved into her mind. However, Hades is getting stronger. The only way to ensure the universe doesn't almost end again, she has to get rid of this book, and herself. It is a hasty decision, but she knows it has to happen. It cannot be delayed.
She puts her hands underneath the book, and it levitates into the air. After one last exhale, the book obliterates into the air, only ashes remain of the book. The ashes fall down to the table it was sitting on, and she walks out of the library, slamming the door behind her.
"Her Highness!"
A voice calls out behind her as she walks down a path towards the portal. Out of breath, the female catches up to her.
"I... I hear shaking. Is the book, okay?!"
Just then something came to the Goddess of Life's mind. Should I tell her? She shakes her head, and then responds to the rather short female, while smiling.
"I don't know anything about that. How about you and Nova go check it out for me? Nova knows how to work the barrier. I trust you, Flora."
Flora's eyes light up, and she grins.
"Alright! I'll go tell Nova now."
She runs off, leaving the Goddess alone.
I'm sorry everyone. This is for your own good.
She sighs as she stops at the portal and starts the spell. Reincarnation. It was the only way after all. The ground under her started to crack as it started, she fears that Nova and Luna will find themselves to each other, so she boots them off far away, in their own... barriers as it would seem.
2 goddesses run from 2 different areas, to see the Goddess slowly materializing away.
"Her Highness!!"
They both scream at the same time. That's when they both reach eye contact. They wondered. Why does she look like me? They then look at the goddess, as she reaches her arms out both ways, and shields them off far away from each other.
They cannot be close. The world would fall apart. Not until they have developed their full potential. She thought.
Their screams are muffled by the shields, as they are sent far away. Eventually, the goddess of life finally and fully disappears, into air, her soul wandering the lands, until she would be reincarnated, into this very age. Waiting, to forget everything, waiting, for a complete restart.
