"ꉓꍏꈤ ꃅꍏꃴꍟ ꃅꍟꍏꋪ꓄?"

A greasy haired entity smiled up at a scarred looking one. The scarred one only looked down at the barred gap in the wall with a permanent frown on his face.

"ꈤꂦ." The other spoke bluntly, resuming his walk down the concrete hallways of his corridor. It was lit up rather well and fit the otherwise creepy mood like the other paths had adorned.

The entity in the gap grumbled before walking off to another spot in the building, hoping to find some other heart he could take. Meanwhile, the other just kept on walking, not paying another glance to the gaps in the walls.

It was going to be yet another uneventful day. For him, of course. The other entities found their fun somewhere. But his was yet to be found in this concrete prison he now called home.

All seemed well, even just for a little while. That was until a woman's scream echoed from a couple yards away.

Sadly, this place was empty, and most entities were quiet. Including himself. So, hearing screams from the other's victims were not too uncommon. He could only hope there were some scraps left for him after their meal.

So, with a sigh, the scarred man made his way to the direction of the scream.

One thing he did expect to find a was a massive trail of blood, and maybe some mangled limbs lying around after yet again experiencing a blood curdling scream such as that one. However, this was not the case.

Not only was he met with a fleeing Mr. Crawling, he was also met with an escaping girl running the same way there was to go.

Mr. Crawling bumped into him, causing the both of them to stumble back. The girl was already long gone at that point, leaving just the two entities to stare at each other with little shock.

"ꌩꂦꀎ ꉓꂦꂵꍟ ꃅꍟꋪꍟ?"

"ꃅꍟꍏꋪ ꌗꉓꋪꍟꍏꂵ. ꌩꂦꀎꋪ ꀸꂦꀤꈤꁅ?" The entity asked the excited and smiling one. Mr. Crawling's smile just widened as his body bounced slightly. The scarred entity normally didn't bother with him. And this was an improvement!

"ꁅꀤꋪ꒒ ꌗꉓꋪꍟꍏꂵ. ꀸꀤꀸ ꈤꂦ꓄ ꂵꍟꍏꈤ."

The other nodded and walked past the crawling man, who understood that this short conversation was over. At least it was something he had to think about when he was bored. Hopefully now, Mr. Scar would actually speak to him now instead of just brushing him off.

After the interaction with Mr. Crawling, the scarred man made it a new goal to figure out just why that girl was still alive within these walls.

A part of him knew that Mr. Crawling's intent was not at all to harn whatsoever. He just tended to be a little more curious was all. Just like Mr. Chopped.

Speaking of the little head, that was another thing he had to do. Was check up on him and make sure that he was doing all right. After all, Mr. Chopped was the only other one that welcomed him when he was put into the body he's sadly in 40 years later.

He opened the door after feeling two presences inside the small room.

He was greeted by Mr. Hood, who gave him a brief wave. However, the girl that stood right in front of him didn't react so kindly to his presence.

"ꁅꀤꋪ꒒?"

He asked the hooded figure

"ꉓꍏꂵꍟ ꀤꈤ. ꓄ꍟꍏꉓꃅꀤꈤꁅ ꃅꍟꋪ."

He responded.

"ꈤꂦ꓄ ꎇꂦꂦꀸ?" The man asked incredulously

"ꈤꂦ꓄ ꎇꂦꂦꀸ. ꈤꂦ ꍟꍏ꓄. ꌗꉣꍟꍏꀘ ꂦ꓄ꃅꍟꋪ ꒒ꍏꈤꁅꀎꍏꁅꍟ."

His eyebrows raised slightly as he looked down at the girl, who started to shake at the eye contact.

"Won't eat." He spoke in her language, which made the girl's eyes widen. Both in shock and excitement

"Y-You speak my language! Oh thank god!"

The hooded entity in front of the bothbof them just remained, slightly confused at the  conversation exchange. He was made aware just now that Mr. Scar was able to understand the girl's language.

"ꉓꀎꋪꀤꂦꀎꌗ."

"ꉓꍏꈤ ꀸꍟꍏ꒒. ꁅꂦ ꍏꅏꍏꌩ."

Mr. Hood stood there no more than a second before nodding slightly and disappearing from the area. He was sure to be needed soon enough.

"You just sent him away..." The girl had muttered, finding Mr. Hood quite helpful.

"How are you still alive." He asked her, almost angrily. "No human has even managed to survive a second in this place...so how are you such a special little snowflake.."

He took her face into his large hand and began examining her.

"Wha...? Let go of me you weirdo!"

She struck him with her palm. Without a flinch, he let her go and pushed her away, wiping his hand on his already soiled trench coat.

"Whatever it may be that's keeping you alive. Consider yourself lucky."

"I did nothing to you! You're just as hostile as the other monsters!"

"You'll find I'm a lot easier to handle."

"As if! What's...your name, anyway..?"

"Despite what these things call me....My name is M/n. Or it was."

"M/n...such an interesting name..."

"No, it's not foreign. Don't even start with that." M/n grimaced in disgust.

"How are you able to understand me..? So far, everyone...or thing that I talk to all speak in some...weird language I haven't heard before!"

He sighed and shook his head. "Seriously.. and I thought you were smart enough to figure it out."

"Figure...what out..?"

"That creatures here, including me, speak in a completely different language than what humans speak."

"How are you able to understand me then?"

"That is not something I want to discuss with you."

"Oh come on!! You can trust me!" M/n narrowed his eyes, silently telling her to shut up.

"What can I call you then?"

"...(MC)."

M/n stared at the girl for a couple seconds before sighing heavily and nodding. They were both acquainted, so now what?

"Do you think you could help me find an exit to this place?" She finally asked. He should've known she wanted something out of him.

"If there was one then I would tell you." He began to walk away, not wanting to bother with the girl further.

"Oh come on! Can't you at least stay with me?! I'm going to die in here! And the least you can do is try and translate for me!"

"I have no duty to protect you."

The girl pouted and stomped her foot.

"T-Then I'm just going to follow you and annoy you then!"

M/n just rolled his eyes and walked off, not expecting her to actually hold true to her threat.

But sadly, follow him she did.
