Chapter 2. A Cat As A Friend.

I woke up to the screeching of my alarm clock. I slammed my hand on the clock and sat up, rubbing my eyes. My room looked better now that I had my black shelves up. They were placed randomly around the room with my favorite novels and book series, Halloween figurines, black and white vintage photos of famous people, and chunky white candles.

I got out of bed, put on my bat slippers, and made my way to the kitchen. After I finished my bowl cereal I slowly walked back to my room to get ready for school.

I plugged my phone into it dock and blasted Motionless In White's Creatures album. I danced around as I got ready.

An album later I was dressed in a black knit sweater, black leggings, and black felt flats. My makeup was done as my usual, intense black eye makeup, thick eyeliner, and black drawn on eyebrows. I decided on not wearing lipstick today.

I grabbed my back pack and keys, left and locked the house, and headed to my school. On the way there I blasted Slipknot.

Once I got there that eerie feeling came back and it wouldn't leave. All through my first five classes I was on edge, ready to fight. I didn't know why people would be watching me, I just moved here a few nights ago.

Once lunch rolled around I made my way into the woods.

"Shelly, I'm here." I said. A few moments later, Shelly came Ito view.

"Are you here for your settle appetite?" She asked.

"Why, yes I am." I smiled devilishly and began. Once I was done Shelly went further into the woods and went back to the school. The only time I didn't feel like I was being watched was when I was with Shelly.

When I got onto school grounds I shivered. The temperature dropped again and could have sworn I saw a couple of people by the trees.

A little shaken up, I went into the school and over heard some gossip.

"Shelly hasn't answered any of my calls and texts! Nobody has seen slash heard from her since lunch, yesterday!" A blonde in a white shirt and jeans said.

"I know. It's really worrying me." A red head replied.

"Well, she is your girlfriend. You have every right to be worried." A brunette sympathetically said while rubbing her arm.

"Yeah.. I hope she's okay." The red head started tearing up. Even though I am responsible for Shelly's disappearance, I hate seeing others cry. So, I walked up to comfort her.

"Hey, um, my names Wednesday. I couldn't help but over hear about Shelly disappearing and that she was your girlfriend. I'm sure she'll show up soon and be back in your arms. She's so nice, I bet she could just smile and end a war." I half hearted my smiled.

"Y-you really th-think she's that kind?" The red head said.

"Yeah. I only had a short conversation with her. But, she's just so kind and caring that its hard not to be happy in her presence." The red headed wrapped her arms around me. I was shocked at first, but then hugged her back.

"Your so kind, Wednesday. Th-thank you for saying th-that." She whispered.

"No problem, miss." She let me go and smiled. The bell rang.

"My names Jacky. Ill see you around school." With that said she left with her friends.

I heard somebody snicker and I looked around. Nobody else was in the hallway. I looked down and saw a little black cat. I bent down and picked up the cat.
