*Kian's POV*
It's a new day, I don't have work today or tomorrow which is a relief. I have had to work quite a bit because some of the other workers have been off due to events going on or something. Some people make that shit up to get out of work, then you see them hanging out with their friends, but you never know because you can't just assume, so you have to let them go unless they are caught, or if they request off too much it can be declined. Anyways off the work topic; since I don't have work, I'd rather not spend my free time talking about work.

My phone ringer goes off. I lean over grabbing my phone off my desk and check it to see a text from Violet, 'hey what are you up to tomorrow?'
I sigh as I read this and rub my eyes a bit and respond, 'nothing really. I have today and tomorrow off, might hang out with a friend...' and then wait a bit before clicking send.
She's been texting me quite a bit, I usually don't talk to her much, but I don't like being rude and just not responding. I got a text back from her, 'can we do something tomorrow, maybe?' I looked around and grunted, it's not that I don't want to hang out with her, but I kind of wanted to hang out with Sam again and get to know him more, but I don't even know if he'd want to or if he's busy or not.
I twiddle my fingers slowly with my phone in my hand, trying to think of the best response without being rude. I finally type, 'what were you thinking of?' and hesitantly press send, tossing my phone to the side afterwards.
She said 'the indoor water park?' and I thought you know what I'll go, it'll be good for me to get out, and I'll see if Sam wants to go too if it's ok with her.
I texted her back, 'yeah sure, can my friend Sam come with though?' the wait for her to text back was longer than usual, that made me wonder a bit. Maybe she doesn't want Sam to go... I don't know.
While I was waiting for her to respond, I decided I was going to call Sam and see if he would want to go because I can't just tell him he's going without him knowing, I chuckled at that thought. I would text him, but I thought calling would be quicker than texting back and forth. I went to his contact in my phone and pressed call and slowly put my phone up to my ear, he answered after three rings. He sounded tired, I wondered if I woke him up.
I said, "Hey Sam, do you have any plans tomorrow?"
"Uhh, no... I don't think so, why?" he responded in a confused tone.
"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go swimming at the indoor water park." I said into the phone with a small smile on my face, waiting for his response.
He replied with a bit of worry in his voice, "Um, I'm not sure. I don't think I have enough money."
I quickly responded, "I can pay for you!" I didn't mind, I wanted him to go and have fun since it seemed like he was at home most of his time.
"I don't want to cause any trouble for you, you don't have to, it's fine." he said, stuttering in between some words.
"No, Sam... Don't worry about it, that's what friends are for. I really don't mind. So is that a yes?" I replied excitedly.
"I mean, I guess I will if you really want me to."
"Ok, great! I'll pick you up tomorrow, does noon sound good?" I usually walk places, but since the pool is quite a distance away and we'll be carrying stuff, I decided I'm going to drive.
"Yeah, I'll see you around then."
"Alright, see you then." I said with a smile on my face.
I hung up, and pondered for a bit, I hope he's ok with it because he sounded unsure, but maybe he's just shy because we've only really hung out once, unless you count that one night at the bridge. I don't want to force him into anything that makes him uncomfortable, but maybe once we're there he'll come out of his comfort zone. I won't force him to do anything he truly doesn't want to do though.
I noticed Violet had texted me back while I was on the phone with Sam. She said it was ok for Sam to go with also and then I realized I forgot to mention Violet going to Sam, but I don't want to call him back and bother him more. I think he'll be fine with it, hopefully...
I replied to Violet, "ok, meet me at my house around noon, we'll pick Sam up from there."

Hey everyone!! I hope you're all enjoying everything going on in this fanfic right now.
I'm sorry for the longer wait, I tried to write ch 5 before, but then I didn't really know where to go with it so I gave up for a bit. But I found my motivation and creativity again to come up with it.
This chapter could've been one chapter, but I decided I'm going to put it into two because it is long enough for it to be two. Plus then I already know somewhat of what I'm going to do with ch 6. Also, so it won't seem like too much crammed into one chapter. And I plan on writing ch 6 soon too.
So stay tuned and if you have any ideas for anything else to happen, leave a comment and I will read it for sure!
It'd also be great if you guys could vote for this!
As always have a nice day!
