Frank wiped his sweaty hands on his khaki pants. It was 8 minutes until 4th period calculus and Frank was getting nervous. Normally he would have loved calculus, but ever since the new girl, Hazel, came to school, he's been growing more and more anxious at school.

Frank stared at the clock. Seven minutes left. He sighed and put his head down.

"Yo, Frank what's up," his best friend Percy shook his shoulder from behind him. Mr. Carter, their science teacher failed to notice them speaking, as his back was to the class.

Frank shook his head. "Just nervous."

"Don't worry, man, you'll-"

"Mr. Jackson, from all this talking I assume that you have figured out the answer to my question?" The middle-aged teacher barked.

"Yes, Mr. Carter, the key to happiness is to follow your dreams." Percy smoothly replied. This earned a giggle from the class, and caused their teacher to scowl and turn back around to continue his lesson.

Frank smiled a bit, but went back to anxiously checking the clock. Five minutes left. He began tapping on his desk. Percy kicked Frank's chair, and threw a piece of paper at him. He opened it up.

"What's up?"

Frank scribbled on the paper. "Not sure if I'm ready." He tossed it to Percy. He could hear Percy The click his tongue behind him.

"Just do it man what's the worst that could happen?" Before Frank could reply, the bell rang. He stuffed his notebook in his backpack, picked up his things in his locker, and went to Percy's.

"I mean, come on Frank, you've been making doe eyes at her since she got here and Piper's caught her looking at you every day." Percy messily stuffed his English book in his backpack.

"Percy, please don't make me do this," Frank whined. The prettiest girl in the school looks at him and his friends go all crazy fangirls over both of them.

"Too late, bro. Leo and I already placed our bets and I'm saving up so both of you, me, and Annabeth to go on a double date."

"Percy-" Frank was cut off by the bell. Percy grinned and gave him a pat on the back.

"You'll be fine, just don't panic. Gotta go," and with that, Percy raced off, leaving Frank dreading the next hour in calculus.

Sorry this is short but I swear I'll update either tomorrow or the day after.
