In which the idiot messes up

AN: Peterandpan basically wrote this with me. Sorry for not updating in a while and that confusing last chapter, I left off in a hurry. Promise this one will be more entertaining.

When Frank came to school on Thursday morning, he was now completely grasping the fact that he was going on a date with Hazel for the first time. Him. And Hazel. Hazel and him. Frank began to question whether that was just a dream or not.

Frank came into school five minutes early and made his way to the cafeteria to meet Percy and Annabeth. Only Annabeth was there, munching on an apple and bending over a blue binder. Studying.

"Hey Frank," Annabeth grinned with out looking up. "I heard you asked out Hazel?"

"She asked me out," Frank blushed.

Annabeth looked up and smirked. Before she could reply, Percy came to sit down besides her. They all spent a few minutes talking before the bell rang and left to their separate classes.

The rest of the day went by in a blur, and before Frank knew it, he was in fourth period, stealing accidental glances at Hazel. He wanted to say something to her after class but Hazel left the moment the bell rang.

Frank made his way to his usual spot with the rest of his friends. It felt oddly empty, given that Hannah and Piper were suspended for the rest of the week because of the fight. Frank sat down next to Leo, who immediately started talking about that girl in his wood shop class, Calypso.

"Dude there she goes now," Leo pointed at a red-headed girl walking past their table. "I'm going to go say hi."

"Leo," Jason started. "Please don't."

"Too late."

With that Leo walked over to Calypso. He tapped her shoulder and she abruptly turned around, accidentally spilling her spaghetti on top of her white blouse.

"Oh my god!" Calypso exclaimed. "Oh my god, did you see what you just did!"

"Oh I'm so sorry-" Leo started but was cut off by her shouting.

"Sorry?! You got spaghetti all over my shirt, you idiot!" Calypso stormed out of the cafeteria leaving her plate on a nearby table.

Percy tried to hold back his laugh. "Tough luck, bro."

Leo raised his eyebrows and shrugged. "She'll warm up to me."
