The low hum of the helicopter reverberated through the cabin as it approached the Kyruin manor. The imposing structure loomed ahead, its spires piercing the evening sky. Shadows danced across its grand facade, making the building seem alive, watching as the aircraft drew nearer.
Inside, Satsuki Kyruin sat rigidly, her back straight and her gaze fixed forward. Across from her, Yuuki lounged in her seat, arms crossed and an amused smirk on her face.
Yuuki: "All this for a couple of uniforms? Seems like overkill to me. Couldn't we just send a courier or something?"
Satsuki's eyes flicked toward her sister, her expression unchanging.
Satsuki: "These are no ordinary uniforms, Yuuki. They represent our strength, our heritage. They are not to be treated lightly."
Yuuki shrugged, leaning back.
Yuuki: "Right, right. Family legacy, power, destiny—all that jazz. You sure know how to make things sound exhausting, sis."
Before Satsuki could reply, the helicopter began its descent, the blades stirring the air into a frenzy. As the door slid open, a tall, silver-haired man was waiting at the edge of the landing pad. He stood perfectly still, his hands clasped behind his back, exuding an air of quiet authority.
Hiroshi, the Kyruin family's butler, stepped forward, his polished shoes clicking against the stone as he approached.
Hiroshi: "Lady Satsuki, Lady Yuuki. Welcome back to the Kyruin manor."
His voice was calm and measured, carrying an undertone of deference mixed with formality. He bowed slightly, his movements precise and deliberate.
Satsuki stepped out of the helicopter first, her posture as commanding as ever.
Satsuki: "Hiroshi. Prepare the Goku Uniforms for immediate retrieval. We won't be staying long."
Yuuki hopped down behind her, hands stuffed into her jacket pockets.
Yuuki: "Yeah, make it quick, Hiroshi. The sooner we're out of here, the better."
Hiroshi straightened, his eyes briefly flicking toward Yuuki before returning to Satsuki.
Hiroshi: "Your mother has requested a moment of your time before you proceed to the Hall of Ascension."
Yuuki groaned, tilting her head back.
Yuuki: "Of course she has. Can't just grab what we need and leave, huh?"
Satsuki gave her a sharp look before nodding to Hiroshi.
Satsuki: "Lead the way. We'll speak with her briefly."
Hiroshi turned, his steps echoing against the marble floor as he led the two sisters into the manor. The grand entrance hall was as immaculate as ever, its towering columns and ornate chandeliers exuding the opulence the Kyruin family was known for. Yuuki glanced around, her expression bored.
Yuuki: "Still feels like a museum in here. Ever think about redecorating?"
Hiroshi didn't falter, his tone steady as he replied.
Hiroshi: "The decor reflects the enduring strength and tradition of the Kyruin family, Lady Yuuki. It is not meant to cater to fleeting tastes."
Yuuki smirked, giving Satsuki a sidelong glance.
Yuuki: "See, sis? Even the butler's as serious as you."
Satsuki ignored the comment, her eyes focused ahead as they approached a set of gilded doors.
Hiroshi came to a halt and turned to them, bowing slightly.
Hiroshi: "Your mother is expecting you. Shall I announce your arrival?"
