Chapter 2

「𝙰 𝙶𝙻𝙾𝙾𝙼𝚈 𝙳𝙰𝚈」

Its been a few days since that eventfull day. The twin has been having a bad mood for the past few days ago, Dawn leaned against the massive tree behind him, his eyes staring at the flower crown made by Dusk in his hand. His face showing no sign of happines or hope

Dusk looked at Dawn beside him, feeling somewhat sad and guilty about the situation. Dusk then begin to ask him a question with a little hesitation in his voice, "Dawn, are you alright? I'm sorry for what happened few days ago"

Dawn looked at his older twin, a small smile etched on his face as he heard Dusk's apologies. "I'm fine Dusk, just a little.. tired maybe? It's okay, you don't need to apologize."

Dusk looked at his younger twin for a moment, before shifting closer to him. "Hey Dawn, I know you're lying to me. You don't need to tell me if you don't want to, I just wanted to help you out by hearing your problems. We're brothers remember? You can tell me what's wrong and I'll try and help you as much as I can.. That if you want to tell me..." Dusk said as he looked infront of him

"..." Dawn looked at Dusk for a moment before looking infront of him aswell. "I'm sorry Dusk, it's not like I don't want to tell you, I'm just... Not in a mood to talk right now...." Dawn said as he hugged his knees closer to his chest

Dusk smiled at Dawn's answered, pulling down Dawn's head to his shoulder. "That's okay Dawn, take some rest then, little brother." Dusk said as he patted Dawn's head, Dawn was a bit surprised by Dusk's action but let it be as he snuggles closer to Dusk. Finding comfort in each others presences.

"Gah!!!"

Dusk wakes up from his sleep, breathing heavily as he looked around his surrounding in fear. His heart beating loudly inside his ribcage as he put his hand on his chest, clenching his shirt tightly as he took a deep breath to calm his nerves.

He sigh heavily as he calmed down, his eyes staring into the night sky above him. Seeing the stars and the moon shining brightly in the dark sky, Dusk shifted slightly, leaning into the massive tree behind him as he enjoys the silent atmosphere around him

Dusk turned his head towards Dawn who is still sleeping peacefully beside him, his head leaning against the massive tree behind them as he unconsciously pulled his cloak over himself, the cloak acting as a blankets for them to protect their body from the cold temperatures at night time.

Dusk gently pulled Dawn's body to lay in his lap, using his own cloak to shield their body from the cold wind. Finding comfort in Dawn's presence

He then leaned back into the tree, shifting his position to get a comfortable position as he looked at the night sky for the last time before closing his eyes. Letting his consciousness slipped away as he fell asleep

Surely Dusk will not get any nightmare after this, right?

Right?

If only Dusk know, this was just the beginning. Everything will eventually fall appart in the end, no one will be able to help them escape the cruel fate that was given upon them.
