Later that night, Chris headed out somewhere to meet Robyn. He told me that if he wasn't back in an hour and a half, I had to call him and tell him to get his ass home. I agreed with a laugh, and then Chris kissed me and gave Jr a hug before going out the door. I watched his car drive off, and then Jr. pulled my arm and asked me if I could make dinner.

I went into the kitchen and finished dinner, not hungry enough to eat anything myself. Jr ate his food quickly and then put his plate away. He stretched and yawned, and I smiled at how tall he was. At least he was going to be tall like Chris and not short like me.

"Why don't you go take a shower." I suggested.

"Aw, man. Okay." he said, sighing and dragging his feet up the stairs. I shook my head and sat on the couch, turning on the TV and pretending to watch it. Instead, I was thinking about why Robyn would want Chris to meet her at such a random time. I closed my eyes and rested my head against the back of the couch. I still didn't believe Robyn was a bad person, but I was just curious. Just then, my phone rang. I saw that it was my mom, and I sighed. I wouldn't tell her where I was, but I could still answer the phone.

CHRIS POV

I went into the restaurant Robyn told me to meet her at. I was nervous to see her. Not as in the "butterflies in my stomach" nervous, but I just had a feeling that this meeting wasn't totally random. There had to be a reason, and I really didn't think I wanted to know the reason.

I walked up to the waiter and told him I was here to meet Robyn, and he nodded and led me to her table. It was in a different room than the other tables, a more private room where we wouldn't be recognized by the public and fans. I saw her sitting there waiting for me, but I felt no more sexual attraction between us anymore. We were just friends, the way it should be. The feelings I used to have for her were still nothing compared to what I felt for Kylie. She smiled at me, and I smiled back. I sat across from her, and the waiter left us alone.

"Hey, Chris." she said.

"Hey." I said with a nod.

"How's life?" she asked again. My head was spinning with confusion. This was an odd conversation. I could tell she was stalling.

"Um, good. Why did you wanna meet me?" I asked, rushing the words out of my mouth and getting straight to the point. Well, it's kinda hard to explain, but,  well, I think it would be easier to show you." she said.

"Show me what?" I asked nervously.

"Hey mom." I heard. I turned around and saw a tall pretty girl who looked to be about 17 or 18 with a bright smile on her face.

"Hey Cass, I'd like you to meet your father." Robyn said. I stiffened and the world went blank. I could see the girls lips moving, but I couldn't hear the words coming out of her mouth. I couldn't hear anything. I only heard the echo of Robyn's words bouncing around in my head: meet your father. Father. Father. I couldn't have a kid. It was impossible! It couldn't be mine! Yeah, that was it. Robyn was just joking, it couldn't be true. I let out a sigh of relief and looked up at the girl's face. She brushed her hair back and I saw her eyes. My eyes. They were the same.

KYLIE POV

I sat on the couch with my head in my hands. I had just gotten off the phone with my mom, and it had been so annoying.  After her begging and pleading, I had finally told her where I lived. I had timed it though. I had stalled on the phone long enough that I knew by the time my mom arrived, Chris would be home. Hopefully. I glanced at the clock and bit my lip. Five more minutes and an hour and a half was up. I couldn't wait. I picked up my phone and dialed his number.

"Hello?" he asked in a shaky voice.

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked.

"N-nothning, I can explain later."

'Well are you coming home now?" I asked, crossing my fingers.

"Oh shit I forgot. Anyway, yeah I guess I'll be home in about 20 minutes, I'm leaving now." he said. Dread flooded through me. My mom would get here before Chris did. Crap, I couldn't handle her alone. Shit, shit, shit.

"Okay babe that's fine." I said.

"Okay see you soon."

"Okay bye."

"Bye." I hung up and hoped I would still be alive when Chris got here after what I was about to go through.
