That Gut Feeling (Dan Howell & Harry Styles)

(Chapter 3) Stopped Frozen

You take 2 steps toward the tent before realizing that you haven't even freshened up. You have to freshen up. This is your first impression!

You look around and finally see Paul standing by the other end of the fence.

"Paul hey! Finally I found you!"
"Oh hey (Y/N). The boys are just in the tent. Knock before you enter because they're prolly getting changed. "
"Ok. Will do. One thing before though, is there a washroom back here?"
"Yup. Down that way and to your right."
"Thanks." You say walking toward its. For the back of a curtain-draped stage they certainly set up nicely for 1D. You put some lip stick on, in ruffle your clothes, put some lotion on your knees etc. as you look in the mirror you only wish you would get to meet 1D with your long hair. But oh well. You step out and start walking towards the tent opening door (just a piece of the tarp cut on the edges so you pull it up and over your head." Realizing there's no way for you to knock you walk up the door and say out loud "Knock Knock".
Almost instantly you hear a "Come In" from an Irish boy. You lift the tarp up over your head with excitement and time almost stops. Here's what you see:

Behind this tiny little area is a bigger square room. You are facing all the boys. To your immediate right Liam is sitting down on a bench. Across from him to the left Niall is sitting with his guitar still around him. Louis is sitting in the far left corner, all by himself. And then there's Harry. He's directly across from you on the other end, with his back to you. He seems to be getting water into a paper cup from a little jug. And he's shirtless. You didn't really know what to expect. For the first time in your life you're actually shy. Usually you're your same bubbly self around new people. You wake up from your daydream. "Just be you" you say to yourself.

"Oh hey. "
Liam immediately responds with "Hi" but the look on his face says "another crazy fan got back here?"
Immediately to clear up any confusion you say "I'm Liv. I'm actually the youtuber who you guys are doing a collab with tonight." You smile.

The boys all looks at each other with relief. "Good." Says Niall. "We were scared another fan got back here".

"Come on, with Paul? He'll only let them back here if he feels bad enough"
You say giggling. 

"Wait you know Paul?" Liam asks.
"Yup. He's the one I talked to to get our collab" They're so chill you get your confidence back.

Finally Harry turns around calmly, until he sees you. He immediately looks shocked and gets this cute smile on his face. Almost as if .. He thinks you're cute.

Realizing you're just looking at him you blush and look down, hoping someone will bring something up, even though that's your job ATM.

You notice all the boys look at each other with a -Harry Likes Her- look on their faces. Harry sees and blushes.

Decided to end the awkwardness Niall sets his guitar to the side and walks over to shake your hand. Then Liam & Louis. Louis' been very quiet this whole time, but I don't blame him. I mean he is having a child.

Since you've shaken everyone's hand except for his, you look at Harry, still standing across from you down the tent. The both of you kind of stand their awkwardly, not knowing who should move to who, but eventually you're left forced to watch as Harry slowly, strides toward you. He stops a few feet in front of you. (Still shirtless). He holds out his hand, and says in a sexy accent "Harry." He looks in your eyes the whole time. You shake his hand biting your bottom lip, "(Y/N)".

He walks to your left and sits beside Liam, pulling on a shirt as he walks.
You take the opportunity to share all the deets.

"So basically-why did I say that so white girl-" you laugh at yourself and the band laughs too.
"Anyways, my hotel -welcome to London btw-is right across the street, 15 minute walk. I was told that I have you from 11:00 pm to 12:30. Is anyone here families with youtubers?"

They all just kind of shake their heads slowly. You can't help but notice that Harry is staring at you as if you're a doll, it looks like he's studying you.

"Basically we're going to be filming a challenge. It's called the whisper challenge. It's really fun and sometimes so hilarious. What you do is one person wears a pair of headphones while the other tries to tell them something. Like a sentence, for example "That Cotton Candy Makes Me Feel High". Then the person with the headphones has to try to say the sentence." You smile to yourself, please with how confident you are at the moment.

Just then Harry starts walking towards you. He stops a few feet in front of you, looking down into your eyes. "So let's say you're wearing headphones, I say to you something like "I think you're cute"?"

You blush realizing what he just did. Bastard just secretly called you cute. Cheeky.

"Yup." You say biting your lip. "Just like that."

Harry nonchalantly walks by, acting like he's so innocent and sits beside Louis in the corner.

"Well sounds like fun!" Niall says.
"Yup. So I have to go set up my camera in my hotel and prolly clean up because I'm lazy. So I'll see you guys in half an hour!"

"Ok." "Bye" "Seeya"
They all say bye while you walk out, but when you turn around you see Harry physically waving to you with a cheeky smile on his face. "Byeeee" he says.
That boy. 'He's going to be the death of me.' You think.

As you walk out you have a huge smile on your face. Did Harry Styles just flirt with me? No way.

You look around for Dan. You walk past the fence and see him sitting with his head in his hands a few bleachers up. You walk up to him saying "Hey".

"Oh hey." He says fake-smiling. "Well. How was it?"

"Great actually. We better get to the hotel quick though because I gotta clean up! I'm so lazy!" You say giggling. Dan puts his arm around your shoulder while you walk. "And that's why we're meant to be" Dan gives you a sincere smirk. The smirk you love. He reaches down and pecks your lips as you keep walking.
