Amelia's POV
I was shattered when he said that he is going to marry me. I couldn't resist that, I was just gulping the truth and he left without saying anything else. I wasn't sad but I also wasn't happy. I was still going through the shock slowly. My life felt like miserable like a joke at that particular moment. I was in deep pain and that always lead me to eating food quietly because I don't have anyone so that I can share my feelings. My mind was blown away. That now in few days or I guess months or even thankfully years but still I am going to marry him that too forcefully. I was in the deep thought but later I was disturbed by my not a dad but a dad, he was shaking his dirty five fingers in front of my face to indicate the zone out. I quickly got back to my senses, and I said Yes! Dad He replied with a jerk on his face Don't call me a dad, and also did he say yes? I was going to answer him but then my sister interrupted to say Dad do you think her face is capable to marry someone? And laughed like an evil. I was already in pain but then she started taunting so I spoke proudly Excuse me! He said that he is going to marry me! Did you understand? My dad yelled at me saying Don't talk to my daughter like this ever. I nodded in pain! She screamed at me Yes! I know he obviously doesn't love you. I was neither caring about it so I just nodded and climbed the stairs to go into my room. I couldn't sleep all night because of the thought going in my mind. I was constantly thinking about the sinful deeds my family has did with me and what if I get happiness staying with cornor"s family at least I wouldn't be abused. I was still wondering about it, that is when I heard a knock on the door. I got up only to see I was in the dinner date dress but ignored it and opened the door. The maid was standing there I said with a smile Hi what's the matter? She replied with a smile Your dad is calling you down. I jerked and said Now what will it be? Maid said confused Ma"am Are you going out or what? I replied No, then saw my dress and said Oh, Yes this is yesterday"s dinner date dress! I didn't changed. Maid smiled and nodded. I smiled and indicated her to go. I quickly went to take a shower washed my hair came out wearing a big black bath rob. I directly went to the dressing room without any hesitance, I choose a dress which was just kept there without even looking at it once. It was a white colour long dress with a slit in the left which was going right above the knee pairing it up with white buttoned sweater. I also wore white sneakers. The dress was looking fascinating but I ignored it because of all the pain. And then just after wearing it I rushed downstairs because my dad was calling me. The hallway is too big to reach in time so it took me 10 minutes to reach where my dad was sitting. I did a throat aching sound to get attention so that he knows I am there. He turned around to see me and said actually yelled Amelia come here and sit. I am used to his yelling so I don't think that he is yelling on me. I nodded and walked towards the nearest chair far from him. He said actually yes said Come near to me how can I talk to you when you are so far from me. And he pointed the chair next to him which was really very close for me because I have never touched him or sat even 1 inch close to him and this was I guess 50 cm close. I quietly went there, I knew there is no choice.

I know that this chapter is quite late and short with no good story line but I am really sorry .
Wait for the thing his father did also wait for what he said ! It is going to be a real suspense.
