Made For Each other

Chapter 6

Abhijeet and Jaya were waiting for the Sharma's in their Study room.

"Abhi how do you think they will react to  the proposal" Jaya asked anxiously

"Mujhe nahi pata Jaya, but whatever they decide we will go according to it"

"I just want the best for my son"

Abhijeet smiled and squeezed her hand in assurance..

Suddenly their was a knock at the door .

"Come in"

The door opens, Raj and Anjali walk in to the Study room.

"Come sit down"

"What is it Abhi, why are we gathered here? " Raj asked

Abhijeet and Jaya looked each other and said

"We want to ask your daughter's hand in marriage for our son Rudra"

Raj and Anjali were happy and shocked

"Bhai saab are you sure?" Anjali asked

"We are 100% sure. Saanvi is best match for our son and if you and Raj agree. We want the marriage to be done by next year, along  with Rudra's conoration. "

"Why the rush Abhi" Raj asked

"Raj ,Rudra's identity is been hidden from our people. But it's time he takes his position as the king and take care of responsibilities. We also want a person who will stand by his side. Who will guide, support and love him with their whole heart. We know that Saanvi is the right one for our son" Abhijeet answered

"Raj bhai saab, you know how we adore and love Saanvi. We would be happy to have her as a part of our family. Saanvi will be our daughter" Jaya said

Raj and Anjali heard them  and processed everything. They glanced at each other.

"Abhi we are more than happy for this proposal, but we can't decide it's our daughter's life. So the decision is in her hand. Whatever Saanvi decides will be the final decision"

"Ok, their is not pressure, at the end of the day we want our children's happiness. But you have a word with Saanvi about this"

"Of course, I will speak to her about this proposal. If she agrees I will be more than happy to turn out friendship into rishtedari"

All of them smiled at each other and prayered whatever happens may it be God's will.

(Later that day)

Rudra picked his dadi sa and chacha, chachi from the airport.
They arrived at the Palace.

Dadi Sa - Rekha Singh
Chacha- Aditya Singh
Chachi - Sarika Singh

"Maa sa you are back, I am so happy" Abhijeet said. Hugged her and took her blessings

Jaya, Meera also took her blessings and ask about her wellbeing.

The brothers and sister in laws greeted each other and shared a hug.

"Abhi bhai, I heard that Raj bhai and his family has come here"

"Yes, it's been two days, they will be here for two weeks"

"That's great, it's been a long time since we all met" Sarika said

"Accha acha, now I am tired, let me go rest for some time" Dadi sa said

"Haan maa sa, aap jaa ke rest kijiye, aur Adi Sarika tum log bhi jaa ke rest karo"

All went to their respective rooms to rest.

Saanvi was called to her parents room.

"Maa papa, kya baat hai? "

"Saanvi as you are aware earlier today we had a talk with Abhi and Jaya ji"

"Haan papa, what was it about"

Papa and maa looked at each other  said

"Saanvi beta they have asked for your hand in marriage for  their son Rudra"

"What!! "

Saanvi was shocked to hear this. She never expected that she would get a proposal of future king of Jaipur.

Would this  even work out

I don't want  the friendship between my  parents  and Singh's to get affected if this doesn't work out.

"Saanvi"
"Saanvi beta"

"Are you listening to us"

"What did you say to them papa"

Papa kept a hand at my shoulder and said

"We said that  whatever our daughter decides, we agree to that. See beta, there's no pressure just think about it".

"Thank you papa, I will think about it. Can I give my decision about this before we return back to Bangalore"

"Saanvi take your time, marriage is big decision. Their is no rush. Both the families want our children's happiness" Maa said

After talking Saanvi went to her room.

Raj and Anjali informed Abhijeet that Saanvi needs time to think about this.

Saanvi will give her answer before they return to Bangalore.

Abhijeet was happy to hear that

Later all went to sleep.

Three minds were Overthinking as sleep was far away  from them...
