" Robin, I wish we was at that party to night, but nah we stuck here working the 3rd shift as usual," my bestie Toni Jackson said
I couldn't go to the party anyway girl cuz I have an psych essay due on Monday
"BLAH BLAH BLAH. Robin you always never like to have fun. All you do is go to school, work , and back to the dorms," she said throwing her hands up in the air
"Toni unlike you I'm going to school to get an degree , not to stay out in party and sleep with any man that walks and breathe, Toni !"
" Well....Robin thanks for the compliment, "she sarcastically said
We both started to laugh and I took Toni by the hand and said, " Toni for real , as your best friend I only want to see you succeed in life and get your dergee. I love you Toni , you're my girl."
"Now come here, so I can give you a hug,"I said with a big smile on my face.
"OK ok ok, get off of me before you mess up my make up ," toni said while pushing me off of her.
" Thanks Robin, I love you too. Now can I turn up at work since I can't go party," she said gabbing her Iphone and turning on Beyoncé's new album.
Toni started to dance in the middle of the diner,since it was only me and her in the diner.
"Come on, Robin let's turn up together, " Toni said dancing awkwardly and pointing at me.
I shrug my shoulders , said, " Sure, I can take a dance break from my essay."
Toni and I had the Beyoncé album blassing with through the diner
And didn't have a care in the world
,
until the diner door opened.
