(N/A) I needed an episode so I can continue the story, so have a nice glimpse at Shade and Gus almost boring life! :)

The sun was shining so bright, and the birds were being annoying. This day looked buitiful. Gus and Shade already made reservations to go to the roof of the train station and look at the stars. Spooky loved this because he could run around and get some fresh air, like an actual dog.

"Today is gonna be soon boring, that is until it becomes nighttime!" Gus yelled as he was eating cereal with Shade. (Don't ask how Shade is eating...)

"Yeah, well, at least you can taste the food!" Shade said as he ate the cereal.

"You're right.." Gus said as he took a deep sigh of boredom.

When they finished, they went to go explore the train station like they always do.

"Oo do you still have an idea where these trains would go?" Shade asked in curiosity.

"It says right here!, and you know more than me.." Gus answered as he pointed at a poster showing the spots the train would head to.

"Yeah.." Shade said with an awkward glance.

"If you want, we can play with Spooky? He says he wants to play fetch!" Gus says, trying to cheer Shade up a bit.

"Yeah, I would like that too, Spooky!" Shade says as he looks down at Spooky.

They began to play fetch for what felt like forever. Gus was sitting down drawing Shade and Spooky. Gus liked drawing, although he thought he couldn't draw that good and would always destroy his drawings. Shade always told Gus he loved the drawing and that they were perfect. But all Gus felt was pitty.

Shade threw the ball far away he would fly it up in the sky, just for Spooky to get it in a swing. They played like this endlessly, making time fly.

"This was a great idea, Gus," Shade said as he threw the ball.

"Mhm, yeah, I also like it now. Stand still for a sec!" Gus answered as he put his paper up to his face to get a side comparison of Shade and the drawn Shade.

Shade did as told, and when he got the symbol to move. He saw that Spooky already had the ball. "How is the drawing coming? Tell me, do I look hot?" Shade said, joking around.

"Haha, in your dreams!" Gus answered, chuckling. "But other than that, I think I like this drawing a lot more than the rest!!" Gus said happily.

"Good! Although i still don't know what the problem was with the rest?," Shade replied.

"I just- it didn't look right!?" Gus said. He never really felt the drawing fit his imagination.

After they kept playing for a couple of more minutes. Gus finally finished and went to show Shade. "Look, I finished it! Do you like it?" Gus asked, Shade.

"Woah, it's great! I like how you drew me, and especially Spooky!" Shade answered with a cheerful tone.

"Thanks," Gus said with a shy smile.

"No problem :)" Shade answered honestly.

Gus went to go place his drawing on the front of the fridge next to one that was a 'family picture' it had Maisie, Fang, Buster, Chuck, and Shade with Spooky on the side. Gus added himself in the middle, of course.

"Now let me get the snacks," Gus murmured as he grabbed a basket and filled it up with food. Maisie always brought them food so they wouldn't starve. He then grabbed a picnic blanket and went straight to Shade, who was still playing with Spooky.

"Is it time?" Shade asked.

"Yep, I have everything, and it is almost getting dark. If we make it in time, we can catch the sunset, with stars!" Gus said excitedly. Gus loved star gazing it was his favorite thing to do.

"Alright then!" Shade answered. They two friends headed to the rooftop. When Shade made it up there, gus quickly threw the stuff to him. After that, gus climbed on his balloon and made it at the top. Gus let Spooky lose. When that happened, Spooky started running around and playing.

"Hehe, look at Spooky go," Shade laughed.

"He sure has a lot of energy!" Gus said as he sighed.

"Oh look, we are soo lucky!" Shade said as he pointed to the buitiful sunset.

"Told you it was pretty," gus answered.

The two boys' stud there clearly mesmerized by the buitiful scenery.

After the sum went down and the moon got up, they looked at the stars. They laughed and talked about what the stars were shaped of. Spooky kept running around at one point, almost falling down the roof.

"Hey, Spook you okay, buddy?" Gus asked, concerned. Spooky just got back on his feet, nodded his head, and started running around again. Shade and Gus laughed as they stayed there looking at the stars and eating. They knew that the next day they would get a visit from the three people who cared for them, and they knew they had a nervous question to ask...
