Back To Work!

It was back to work for the boys, and they were all very eager to get back in the casino. Zarc knew how much they wanted to work their favorite games, so he put them all on the same shift for their first day.

"So, Zarc finally opened a winter branch," said Sora, one of the regulars at the summer branch. He and several of the other regulars had traveled all the way to Hokkaido to be present at the grand opening of the winter branch, and now he was enjoying Yuri's poker table like he normally did.

"Mhm, he's been building the winter branch since before the summer branch officially opened, so that he could still have a source of income when the summer branch was closed," Yuri replied as he shuffled the deck. "The winter branch just took longer to complete because the heavy snow meant construction had to pause during the winter months. But yeah, it's officially open now, which means we don't have to worry about where our paychecks will come from during the winter."

"Oh, yeah, I'm pretty sure I saw Yuya working in a Christmas store last December, right?" said Dennis, one of Yuri's childhood friends. Yuya looked up from his blackjack table when he heard his name, "Oh, yes, yes I was. I'm glad I don't have to do that anymore though. Too many crazies, and the money wasn't worth the stress. I'll take casino work over seasonal retail work any day! At least in the casino I know my boss always has my back! Zarc never lets troublemakers get away with causing problems!"
