It was a day unlike any other for Izuku. He had just received a letter saying he won a mansion. But when he goes to look for his mom who didn't return, he discovers a spooky history behind the mansion, and it's previous owners.
Izuku Midoriya had a very rough life, first he was diagnosed as quirkless, then his best friend turned into a bully, then his father left his family and his mother had to work much harder to look after her son. Despite all that, Izuku did his best to make sure to stay positive for his mother's sake. One day Izuku heard the doorbell ring and he opened the door to find a Mailman.
Mailman: Letter for Izuku Midoriya.
Izuku: Oh, that's me.
The Mailman holds out an envelope which Izuku takes. He then tips the Mailman for his hard work.
Mailman: Thank you.
The Mailman leaves and Izuku goes back inside.
Inko: Who was it, honey?
Izuku: It was the Mailman, he had a letter for me.
Inko: Well, open it.
Izuku opened the envelope and inside was a letter and a map. Izuku then proceeds to read the letter.
Letter: Dear Izuku Midoriya. You are the winner of our contest. For your prize,e you have been given this mansion. To find it, simply follow the map and you will arrive at your new home.
Izuku and Inko were surprised by this and then they looked at the map and saw it was on a hilltop in a forest.

Inko: Wow honey, that's amazing. Why didn't you tell me?
Izuku was excited too, but there was one problem.
Izuku: But Mom, I never even entered a contest, this doesn't seem right.
Inko's excitement turned into skepticism, because she could tell her son wasn't lying.
Inko: Hmm, you're right, but still I know that location. How about I go see if it's real or not, and then I'll call to let you know.
Izuku: Okay, but be careful Mom, something about this doesn't feel right.
Inko hugs her son and then he heads to bed while Inko goes to her car. Unbeknownst to them, they were being watched.
???: It worked, soon they'll join us forever.
The next morning Izuku woke up and headed down to get breakfast, he got a call from his mother saying that the mansion was real and that she might be home after school. At school Izuku didn't tell anyone about this because he was still a bit worried about this whole contest thing. After school he returned home to find Inko wasn't home. Izuku started to get worried, but he thought it must be just some traffic, so he waited... and waited... and waited... and waited until it was nighttime.
Izuku: Where is she?
Izuku now had more reason to worry, Inko was never this late, and there weren't any leftovers so it was now more obvious that something happened. Izuku took out the map and decided to go investigate for himself. He took a flashlight with him and the spare key to their apartment. He locks the door and leaves. He walked for a while but eventually arrived at the location of the woods. This made Izuku even more worried, since it was such a short walk his mother should have been home by then. The trees were all withered away and didn't have any leafs, which made the forest seem a bit scary.
