Just a quick heads-up:
In the original book and movie, the characters are 13 in their third year. However, to avoid anything feeling strange or inappropriate, in this story, they are 16 years old.
As for the characters, you'll notice some fresh faces who aren't part of the Harry Potter saga. Feel free to imagine them however you like! You might even find yourself falling for Leo Blackberry—he certainly earned a soft spot in my heart while I was writing. His character took a very different path from the others, making him stand out in a special way.
