"There's a party Friday night."
"And?"
"Are you gonna go?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"I don't do parties."
"You don't do a lot of things. Come on! It'll be fun."
"Really? You think crowds of sweaty people and loud music is fun?"
"Me and everyone else! Will you please go. I want to know someone there."
"Don't you know the whole cheerleader squad?"
"God, you don't think I actually like being around those people do you?"
"Uh, yeah."
"They're all so superficial like sometimes I just wanna talk about things that don't to do with last night's game or the hottest celebrity."
"Like what?"
"I don't know! Like remember that time I had to stay at you're house until 3 am because my mom got bitten by a dog."
"That was right before you left..."
"Yeah... but we sat on you're couch watching cheesy movies and you turned to me and said you were terrified of the future. You said you were one day gonna wake up for the last time and you had no idea when that would be."
"I was a pretentious 12 year-old wasn't I?"
"That was the last good memory I have of our friendship."
"Now you're getting all sappy."
"I'm sorry, but will you please come to the party?"
"I'm don't know why I'm doing this, but fine."
"Yay!"
"You're hugging me..."
"Yeah... Sorry..."
