"Are you ok? What happened?" Caleb asked frantically. he grabbed me by the waist and held my face in his hands tilting it from left to right and checking to see any bruises. pure concern is what I could see in his chocolate brown eyes.
"I'm fine" I say angrily ripping out of his hold. I start to turn around and walk away but he grabs my arm and I wince.
"what happened?" he asked letting go, realising he hurt me. before I can answer he gently takes my hand and sees a massive hand shaped bruise on my bicep. "Blaire what the hell happened?"
"nothing, I'm fine. we have to go back to the hall its a lockdown"
"you will be telling me what happened"
"I'm getting really tired of you telling me what I will and will not do. your not my boyfriend and even if you were I wouldn't allow you to speak to like that."
"ugh look I'm sorry ok? I was just worried. do you blame me though? I came into the hallway to see a huge guy knocked out on the floor and you standing beside him. I got scared" he said sincerely I could tell he wasn't just trying to get in my pants he actually was worried. I sighed and picked up my stuff from the floor where I lost it at some point in the fight.
"ok, look lets just get to where its safe and I'll tell you what happened"
"sounds good" he said taking my bag. we turned around and went to walk bag into the hall when I realised something.
"Caleb?"
"Hmm?"
"that guy's gone"
(A/N: I was going to finish it here but I decided it was too short of a chapter.)
"I wouldn't worry about it babe he probably just ran off considering he's the reason we're on lockdown. Come on we still have an hour to practice before breakfast".
"yeah ok. your probably right. lets go."
Caleb's POV (just before fight)
Blaire just ran out after we had our argument. I probably shouldn't have treated her like that but she just angered me so much when she, like everyone else, judged me on my status in the school instead of believing me when I told her how I felt about her. I've never told a girl that I had feelings for them so it wasn't too easy for me.
I came out behind the curtain and jumped off the stage.
"What did you do" one of Blaire's friends yelled at me. I think her name was Lacy? No! Jaycee is her name. she's quite pretty, she's quite tall and thin with dark skin and black hair. she has a slight African accent but she could easily be a model.
"nothing" just then the lockdown bell rang. I ran out of the performance hall with everyone calling me. the arts director Mrs Martin stopped me in my tracks.
"you cant leave young man its a lockdown"
"Blaire is out there I have to find her" I said pushing past her, gently of course.
I ran around the corner and stopped short when I saw a huge brutal looking man laying on the ground unconscious and a very worn out Blaire next to him. her hair was a mess and her stuff was laying on the ground.
"Are you ok? What happened?"

(A/N: how was that chapter? a little more romance? you really get to know Caleb a little more so what do you think about that? I know its only short but i'm watching house rules and its the grand final so I'm a little distracted
