Marielle smiled to herself as she reread the announcement, slightly giggling when she saw the telescope emoji instead of the megaphone. She was actually going to America. She was finally going to see Sabrina after so long! She pulled up contacts and texted Sabrina where she was. Marielle was leaving in a few hours for America, even though her tour wasn't for another month. She didn't really know how to correctly plan for tours as she'd never been on one or to one, so she just hoped that giving her fans a month to buy the tickets was long enough.
"Marielle! Vous devez commencer à faire vos valises!" Her friend, Ameé, called. Even though she was sad about Marielle leaving her in Marseille, she was happy that her friend's music career was finally growing so vastly. Marielle made her way to her room where her empty suitcases were propped open. She was only bringing two, hoping she'd get more necessities in America. She hugged Ameé tightly, pulling away after a few minutes.
"I'm going to miss you very much," Ameé muttered in her thick French accent. Marielle smiled. "I'll miss you much too, Am," Marielle responded.
Marielle grabbed the already laid out outfits she had and placed them neatly into her suitcases, along with her other necessities. She zipped up the suitcases and stood up, hugging her friend once more, wiping the few tears that fell.
