Dean is not what you would call a 'morning person'. It usually takes him at least 10 minutes to simply roll out of bed, and that's on a good day.
His alarm clock goes off at the same time every morning, and every morning its the same reaction.
Smack.
With a sleepy grunt, he sits up and rubs his eyes, trying to adjust to the small ray of light seeping in through the blinds of his bedroom window. He swings his legs out of the bed and makes his way to the kitchen with only one thing in mind. Coffee. After turning on the coffee machine, he goes to the front door to collect the paper.
It's the same thing everyday. Coffee, Paper, work. The same, boring routine.

He gets dressed and heads out the door. His work is not far, but taking the train is much easier than trying to find a car park. A second or two after he locks the door, it starts raining. He quickly unlocks the door and reaches inside, grabbing the umbrella leaning against the front window."Just my luck" he mutters to himself, putting up the umbrella.

Arriving at the station, there were several people sitting on the benches under a shelter and a few standing. There was quite a few people, all huddled under a shelter, barely a foot away from each other.

Then he saw him. The man he sees every other morning. Dean didn't know his name, they'd never gotten to that part. It was always just small talk about the weather, or the news. Looking closer, he sees that the man is standing in the rain, hair wet and dishevelled. "Hey" Dean called while he walked closer to the man, "Need a little shelter?" Dean asked him with a half smile, causing the man to smile back. "that's very kind, thank you-" "Dean. My name is Dean." He offered his name with a smile. I'm Castiel, most people just call me Cas." Dean smiled to himself and thought about how that name was a little strange, but also fitting. As the train pulled into the station, Dean and Cas boarded, sitting opposite each other.
"so, what do you do for a living?" Cas asked dean quietly, almost shyly. "I, uh, I'm a CEO at a law firm down town. What about you?" "I manage a small groceries store." Cas replied, running his hands through his dark hair, trying to dry it. "Sounds like your jobs more entertaining than mine, with half the paperwork" Dan laughed lightly.

The train pulled up at the next station and they both got off onto the platform.
"Well, I better go before I'm late. It was nice meeting you Cas, well, officially." Dean said holding out his hand for Cas to shake. Cas shook Deans hand, feeling a small shiver run up his arm at the touch.
"It was nice to meet you too, Dean. I guess I will see you tomorrow." Cas said while pulling back his hand, yet still feeling the spark. "Yeah, I guess you will." Dean gave him a smile, one that made Cas's heart stop for a second or two. Dean turned then, walking away towards the building in which he worked, but before he got too far he turned around slightly and called back "See you soon, Castiel."
The only Thing Cas could say was "Not soon enough." and walked the rest of the way to his work.
All day, the only thing Cas could think was those green eyes, and that insanely beautiful smile. For the first time in his life, he couldn't wait for tomorrow to begin.
