I woke up to crying coming from a little body next to me which was shaking with her head under the blankets
"Hey baby what's wrong?" I ask picking her out of the bed putting her onto my lap
"I-I miss the b-boys" Ella cried not making eye contact with me
We were at my mums and dads house to spend Christmas and the boys were with there family
We had a little Christmas with the boys and it was lovely! We had an Australian Christmas and after we left Australia we went to our home towns
We had a day on the beach and it was wonderful and Ella loved it and now she gets to have a white Christmas with her Gran and Grandpa.
"I know sweetie, I do too" I answered rubbing her back
she just fell onto my chest and cried a little more until I lifted her head up
" hey I have an idea why don't we face time them?" I ask bouncing her slightly
"YAH!" Ella shouted while getting up out of bed
"Hey hey you have to be quite people are still sleeping!" I said shushing her
"Oops sorry!" Ella said quietly
Ella's birthday was on the 1st of January so I made sure we would get with the boys for her birthday but we would be on tour
I threw on a shirt and grabbed Ella which had her polar bear onesie one and her hair into a braid which Nicola had done last night
I took her onto my hip and walked to the kitchen when I saw Mum and Dad having breakfast
"Hey mum and dad" I said walking into the kitchen
"Hey son, hi baby girl" my mum said taking Ella from me
"Hi Granny" Ella said while my Mum gave her a kiss
"I'm going to FaceTime the boys cause Ella misses them so I will take her and see you in a bit" I state while taking Ella from my mums tight grip
I walked into the lounge room with Ella on my hip
I put her on my lap and took out my phone
"Who should we try first?" I ask Ella
"Uhhhhh Lou" she says looking up at me with her brown glossy eyes
"Okay" I mumble while trying to find Louis's contact
"Here we go"I say clicking on Louis name "now remember to say happy birthday!"
*ring *ring *ring
"Hey Liam, oh hey Baby girl" Louis said as his face popped onto the screen which made Ella jump a bit
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOUIS!" Ella and I screamed
Which made Louis giggle and blush!
"Oh Thankyou guys!" He answered
"Whatcha doin?" I ask
"Uhh I'm just at home with my family having breakfast! What about you guys?" Louis answered
"Well Ella really missed you all so I decided to call you" I answer looking at Ella which was fascinated at seeing Louis on my phone
"Hey baby girl, how are you?" Louis asked Ella
"I miss you" Ella mumbled
"I know baby I miss you too but you are going to have sooo much fun tomorrow for Christmas in the snow!" Louis answered
"Hmm" Ella replied
"I'll tell you what when you get home I will take you for an ice cream just you and me?" Louis asked
"Ok!" Ella shouted getting excited
"Well we gotta call the other boys so say good bye Ella" I said bouncing Ella on my knee
"Bye Louis" she said starting to cry
"Bye baby girl, Bye Liam" Louis said with a sad face
"Bye Louis" I said hanging up
"Before we call Niall should be have a bath and get ready for the day?" I ask turning around to face me
"Okay" she replied not making eye contact
I gave her a big hug as I hear her sniffling
"Come on we are going to see them in a few days, I promise" I say holding my pinky finger out
She interlocked her pinky finger with mine and shook it as she wiped her eyes clear
I picked her up and put her onto my hip as I walked into the bathroom
I took her clothes off and started the bath
"So, what do you do on Christmas?" I hear Ella ask me
I was so shocked that she had never celebrated Christmas but then again she had never been in a stable home
"Well we wake up really early in the morning and open presents, then we have a big lunch with family and just spend the day together because we won't see them in so long"
I reply trying not to cry of the thought that my baby had never seen Christmas
"Oh nice, whose coming?" She asks while throwing some bath toys we had brought
"Well Granny, Grandpa, Aunty Ruth, Aunty Nicola and some of my friends" I say lifting Ella's light body into the hot bath
"What will I wear?" Ella asked with a worried look on her face which made me fall on the floor laughing
"What?" She snapped back
"Hey come on leave the attitude, maybe if you ask Aunty Ruth nicely she might help you in the morning" I say trying to make Ella calm down
"Okay" Ella said while playing with her mermaid

"Come on let me put you PJs on Ella!" I shout running after the rascal as she runs around the house with only underwear on
"Liam get your daughter under control!" My mum shouts form the kitchen
"I can't she has no control" I snicker
I finally run behind her and lift her onto my shoulder
"What PJs do you want to wear?" I ask her
"Pooh bear pooh bear!" She says while giggling
I got her into her pooh bear pants and shirt and walked into the kitchen

"hmmm whats smells so nice?" i ask my mum who's cooking dinner

"the usual christmas eve dinner" she answers as she turns arounds and kisses Ella

"you still do that? wow i thought you would of stopped" i ask

" no its a tradition, just like baking cookies" she answers and she pulls out the freshly baked cookies from the oven

"so when are you planning to go see Sophia?"

" i don't know, i don't know what to do because Ella is her daughter but we've broken up and i don't want to lose my baby" i say as i look back to see Ella watching a christmas movie with my Dad

" i think you should phone sophia and ask if she actually wants to see her daughter because she hasn't actually tried to contact you or Ella"

" i feel like she doesn't care, like she never wanted Ella back, and thats fine because the boys and i love her so much. if Sophia really wanted her she would contact me, which she hasn't, so I'm not going to go running after her" i ramble

" I'm sorry son" she coos "dinners ready everyone" my mum shouts as she places the pizza onto the table

"daddy, Grampa and i watched Elf!" Ella says as she runs into my hands

"thats great sweet" i answer as i put her into her high chair
