"Where are you from?" I ask eating my fry sitting across from Olivia at this restaurant more like a buffet that pretty much serves every food.

"I'm from Los angles actually.." I look at her surprised.

"Wow really? And you left to come to Atlanta because..?" I ask just because I heard La is a nice place  to live if you could afford it.

She laughs and sips her drink. "Well...i went to college here for fours years and I fell in love with it...and besides there wasn't too many people I cared about in LA to be honest well besides Jordan of course.." she finishes and I can tell there's more to her story then she's telling and I obviously wanna know more of it.

"Yeah Jordan fits right in here..he doesn't back down for anything or anyone is he sure he doesn't wanna be a lawyer?" I joke as we laugh together.

"Naw...he's wanted to be a football player since he could walk. And my dad kind of installed in to him all his life" she confesses.

"So your parents live in LA right now?" I ask and her smile kind of fades as she starts to play with her clearing her throat trying to hide the shift of energy. "...if it's a touchy subject you don't have to.." I start to say.

"It's not that...It's just no one has asked me about my parents in a while and...honestly it's kind of nice to hear." She says and I nod. "But yeah they live in LA too...I don't talk to them but I know there doing well"

"...in why is that?" I ask curiously

"We just had different ways of doing things...and though they say they want the best for me it always felt like whatever I wanted to do was never good enough. I was a straight A student, I didn't do drugs or go to party's, I was the perfect daughter..." she pauses. "But I guess perfect wasn't good enough for them. So when I find out I was going to school here.."

"You didn't look back.." I say and she nods smiling

"I got my bachelors and masters in three in half years and my doctorates a year after that.."

"Wow...you're pretty amazing" she laughs and I don't even laugh because I'm dead serious.

"..I don't know about all that.." she starts and I make a face. She plays with her ear nervously.

"No wonder you're already married..." I say and she scoffs.

"My husband doesn't seem to think so" she says "...I don't know why I said that.." she says shaking her head and I smile.

"It just means you're comfortable with me that's all.." I give a comforting smile and she gives me one back. "And besides I might not know what he did but he obviously loves you if he keeps trying right?"

"..I mean that would mean something if he didn't break my trust and the vows we took.." she says and a light bulb goes off in my head.

"...he cheated?" I ask and she nods slowly. "Damn liv I'm sorry..." I pause as she looks away sadly. "But you still love him though" I say and she looks at me.

"Huh?"

"You obviously still love him if you're willing to talk it out every time he's around...you want some type of change that'll be beneficial for the both of you" she looks at me weirdly. "...I can read people really well.." I laugh and she joins.

"...I mean of course I still love him but he's been in my life a long time...but I just don't understand why or how he could do this to me.." she expresses.

"..did you ask him?" I ask and she eyes me.

"maybe I'm afraid of the answer.." she finally says and I nod understandably. She sighs and I can tell talking about this is probably what she needed at the moment. She looks at her glass and I just stare at her for a moment because I don't see how he could cheat on her either. Of course her beauty is the exception but the more we talk it's beyond that. "...let's talk about you now..enough about me. why aren't you in a relationship you seem like a catch" she jokes and I laugh leaning her elbows.
