CHAPTER ONE
The History of Eliza's Reckoning

Ray J sat in the plush interview chair, surrounded by bright studio lights and the faint buzz of an eager audience. He was in his element, the center of attention, and relished the chance to recount stories that only he could tell.

Known for being at the heart of drama, Ray J had the gift of making any story sound like the most outrageous scene out of a movie.

Today, he was about to share one of the most infamous nights he'd ever been a part of, and Eliza's name was at the center of it.

"Man, y'all remember that time Eliza fought Teairra at that party?" Ray J's eyes sparkled as he leaned forward, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial tone.

The audience shifted in their seats, the anticipation buzzing through the air. The interviewer, a woman with sharp features and an unquenchable thirst for scandal, leaned in, eyes wide with interest.

Ray J's grin deepened, showing off a hint of mischief. "It was wild, straight up. We were all at this fancy party—champagne, glitter, the whole Hollywood thing. I was just chilling, minding my business when Eliza walks in, eyes locked on Teairra. You could feel the tension in the room. I knew something was about to go down."

The audience held their breath as Ray J's voice grew more dramatic. "So, I stepped in between them, thinking I could calm things down. I was wrong.

Eliza, with that fierce look in her eyes, looked at Teairra and said, 'What's up, fake ass ho?' And that's when all hell broke loose

Eliza, with that fierce look in her eyes, looked at Teairra and said, 'What's up, fake ass ho?' And that's when all hell broke loose."

The studio erupted with laughter, gasps, and exclamations. Some audience members were clutching their mouths in disbelief, others were laughing, as if it was the best entertainment they'd seen all week. The interviewer's eyes glittered, ready for the next part of the story.

Ray J chuckled, leaning back in his chair as he took a moment to savor the reaction. "Now, Teairra wasn't going to take that lying down. She swung her purse, hard, right at Eliza. And let me tell you, Eliza didn't even flinch. She took that hit like it was nothing, then came back with three punches that landed clean. Teairra's head snapped back, but she wasn't done. She fired back one good shot, right to Eliza's face."

Ray J's smile grew as he thought about how chaotic it had all been. "Now, I'm trying to break them up, but as I push Eliza away, she turns on me. Two punches—bam, bam—right to my chest. I thought I was going to go down. And Teairra, she was still swinging. Eliza didn't stop. She landed two more hits, one after the other, and at this point, I'm thinking, 'What the hell?' It was like being in the middle of a whirlwind."

The audience gasped in unison, some people shouting, others laughing in disbelief. Ray J was only getting started. "Security had to come in and grab Eliza. But she didn't go down easy, not at all. Even with two or three of them holding her back, she was still trying to swing. And then, when she finally managed to get a shot in, she grabbed my chain, yanked me in, and I thought I was going to lose it right then and there."
