Series 1: Luna's Creepy Adventures

Chapter 1: Picture Perfect

One warm Wednesday, Luna watched the movie "Minions" with her parents at their new house. After watching, she thought of going to a picnic so she exclaimed "Dad, could we go picnic outside?"

"Where do you want to go, Luna?" her father replied. "Our garden is a nice place for having a picnic, Luna." her mother suggested. "You're right, Mom! It's nice to go to the garden!" she exclaimed. So, they brought everything outside and prepared their food. So, they ate sandwiches and noodles. After eating....

"Come here, Luna!" her mom and dad gleefully called her to take a picture in their warm and breezy garden. Their garden was filled with bright flowers and tall grass.

"Luna, stand there. I'll just set-up my camera,"
"Are these new flowers? Wow! Pretty sunflowers!"
"Okay, get ready! One, two, three! Say cheese!"
•Camera clicks•
"Aahh, dad, that was a really bright flash!" Luna exclaimed.
•Chuckles•

As Luna's birthday is fast approaching, her father went to a stall to have her photos developed.

"Good afternoon, Sir! May I help you?" asked the owner.
"Hello, I'm kind of in a rush, could you please develop these photos of my lovely daughter? It's for her birthday tomorrow."
"Oh, okay sir. Just a moment."
•Printing sounds•

"Oh, sir, could I ask you? Does the astronaut really belong to the photo?" the owner asked.
"No. Is there an astronaut? Impossible!" Luna's father said. So, to prove Luna's father that there is truly an astronaut in the picture, the stall owner gave him the picture.
"It's frightening me. What will I do? I will decorate our house for the party tomorrow. Could you just edit it and remove the astronaut? Thank you." Luna's father said. After a few minutes, the stall owner asked him.
"Is that alright, sir?" Then, he happily replied:
"Yes, thank you."

Luna's father went home to decorate but when he saw it in their laptop, he just couldn't believe what he saw with his eyes. The astronaut is there again! So, he removed the picture from the special presentation he made for Luna.

But, disaster struck. Luna, her family and her friends saw a very big display of the picture at the end of the presentation. The little friends of Luna were laughing because they thought the astronaut was just Luna's father wearing a costume. Even Luna's mother couldn't believe that an astronaut appeared behind her daughter! How could this be since the stall owner removed the astronaut from the picture and Luna's father excluded it from the presentation?
Luna's parents agreed that they should tell it to their detective friends, the MYSTERISTS - Martin, Java and Mickaella. The mysterists arrived at their house at morning after Luna's birthday. So, they gave them the picture and Mickaella said, "It's impossible that an astronaut would appear in the picture because ---".
Martin interrupted her: "Is this house sold to you at a very low price?"
Mr. CuRPELHuh* said: "Yes, it was sold to us at an estimated price of $300,000."
Java said: "If yes, maybe it was sold to you because there was a murder or a suicide happened here!"

DETECTIVE CLUE # 1: Why do the mysterists think it is very impossible to see a floating astronaut in the picture?
