Ai Oshi stood above a bloody field. Dead bodies of an enemy clan lay dead at her feet. Her soldiers that belonged to the clan that worshipped her was long gone. Yet, she catches glances of their dead also on the field. A sad look on her face. 'How sad.' She thought as her head felt fuzzy. She was called a goddess of many things. She was called a Goddess of war. Also, a Goddess of justice and cruelty. She used to be ruthless in her early God years. Now, she felt no joy, no glee. She hated seeing the bodies. The blood. The loss of life. Closing her eyes, she sighed. She could no longer form tears. They were all used up after her friend was banished.

Her bright blue eyes no longer lit up the darkness. Now, they comforted the night. The dark now welcomed in her. She turned away. Her face now held shame and regret. She walked away and soon disappeared from the field altogether.

Xie Lian followed Ling Wen away from where he had ascended. He looked nervous as he passed people. They stared and looked on with annoyance. Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. "Oh! Can we check up on Ai Oshi while we're here?" Ling Wen knew of his attachment to the Goddess. She showed him kindness and hospitality when others turned on him. Ling Wen stopped and turned to him. A strange look on her face. "Come with me." She turned and led him away.

She led him all the way to a broken down old palace. Officials were there discussing tearing it down. "This is..." Ling Wen watched as Xie Lian's face dropped. This was Ai Oshi's palace. "You weren't here when it happened, but... she disappeared. After a battle, she vanished, and her followers did just as fast. Every temple built for her was destroyed. Some from fires and some from age and being unkept." Xie Lian looked down sadly. "I understand." Ling Wen then led him away again.

A little girl shivered as she walked down the road. It was dark out, and all she had on was a dirt torn little dress. Not even a dress. More like she was wearing an adult shirt over her tiny body. Her messy and matted brown hair swayed in the little bits of wind. Her eyes looked exhausted. Black bags under her eyes and her skin pale. Her blue eyes looked dimmed. She looked about ready to give up.

Looking up, she saw what looked like a glowing blue snake in the sky. No. Wait... Never mind, it's a dragon. She blinked a few times before her eyes widened. A DRAGON!? It flew away down a path. She felt drawn to the creature, so she ran after it quickly. Her feet burned, and her legs ached, but she kept running. Running until she got to a small run-down building. "What..?" Her voice felt scratchy and sounded rough. She really needed some drinkable water soon.

"A shrine." A deep male voice spoke. "Here, they will help you. Step forward unto their home." She didn't know where this voice was coming from, but she did as it asked. The second she reached the front porch of the area, she collapsed. She was so exhausted. Her body shook as it burned. She could feel her feet ache from sores and cuts. Her eyes were slowly closing as her pain was going with it. At least you can't feel pain much during sleep. Her stomach growled as she felt like there was a hole in her chest. Her eyes finally closed.
