Gemini looks up from his phone as he hears the door open. "Heyyy, how are you?", he asks, walking over to Fourth. "Fourth?" Gemini questions, noticing the way his boyfriend's shoulders were slumped, his grumpy expression, and his abnormally quiet behavior.

Noting his boyfriend's bad mood, he prodds "Hey, what's wrong?". "Nothing" Fourth mumbles, barely loud enough to hear. Gemini furrows his brows in worry as he takes Fourth's things and sets them aside.

He slowly takes Fourth's hand in his and lifts the shorter's chin to face him with his other hand. As soon as Fourth's eyes meet Gemini's worried ones, he buries his face in Gemini's broad shoulders, the latter's arms automatically wrapping around his body. The familiarity and warmth of Gemini's embrace makes him relax. "I missed you" Fourth whispers into the crook of Gemini's neck.

Gemini tightens his grip around Fourth's waist. "I missed you too baby". Realizing that his boyfriend must be tired from his long day at work, Gemini asks "Ready for dinner? I got home early and made your favorite".

"I love you Gem", Fourth mumbles, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's neck. While it was not uncommon for Fourth to make random confessions of love, Gemini knew that right now, more than anything, Fourth needed him to be there with him.

"I love you so so so much" Fourth adds. Gemini pulls back from the hug and takes both of Fourth's hands into his own. He smiles at Fourth "I love you more FotFot".

Upon hearing the old nickname from their high school days, Fourth cracks a small smile. "You cheesy idiot" he says, playfully hitting Gemini's chest while hiding a smile. Gemini, overjoyed that he got Fourth to smile again, walks Fourth over to the dining table, where they share the home cooked meal.

Fourth lies silently in their bed, waiting for Gemini to finish up in the bathroom. A few minutes later, Gemini walks into the room, and climbs into bed beside Fourth.

"Are you asleep?" Gemini asks, knowing the answer already. "Yea I am" Fourth replies. Under the moonlight, Gemini rolls his eyes and turns to face Fourth. "Do you feel better now"? Fourth stays silent for a moment. Then, he shifts in the bed, moving closer to his boyfriend, until the only part not touching is their faces. Gemini smiles to himself and wraps his arms around the warm figure next to him.

"I do. Thank you Gem". Fourth says quietly. Gemini closes the gap between them, gently placing his lips on Fourth's.

Gemini's kiss is soft, tender, almost as if he's trying to convey all the love and comfort he has for Fourth in that simple touch. He pulls back slowly, his forehead resting against Fourth's. "You don't have to thank me, FotFot. I'm always here for you."

Fourth's lips twitch into a small, sleepy smile. "I know. I just... I don't know what I'd do without you sometimes," he admits, his voice barely above a whisper.

Gemini's heart melts a little. He pulls Fourth closer, if that's even possible, letting the warmth of his boyfriend's body seep into him. "You'll never have to find out, I promise," he murmurs. "We're in this together, okay?"

"Okay," Fourth replies softly, his eyes fluttering shut. He rests his head on Gemini's chest, hearing the steady beat of his heart, feeling the comfort of being wrapped up in his arms.

Gemini continues to hold him, his fingers running gently through Fourth's hair, a soothing motion that makes Fourth's breathing deepen, growing slower and more even. For a moment, everything feels still, peaceful. Just the two of them, lying together in their little bubble of love, away from the world.

"Gem?" Fourth asks, his voice drowsy.

"Hm?"

"I think I'm falling for you all over again."

Gemini chuckles softly, his chest vibrating against Fourth's cheek. "That's the idea, babe," he teases lightly, "keep falling for me forever."

Fourth laughs quietly, the sound muffled by Gemini's chest. "You're so corny."

"I know," Gemini grins, "but you love it."

"Yeah, I do," Fourth murmurs, the words a little slurred as he starts to drift off. "I love you."

"I love you too, FotFot," Gemini whispers back, his hand still brushing through Fourth's hair as his boyfriend slips into peaceful slumber.

The world outside may be chaotic, but in this little moment, everything feels just right. Gemini holds Fourth even tighter, feeling the steady rise and fall of his chest, and for the first time in a long while, everything feels perfect.

Gemini lies there for a while, feeling the rhythmic beat of Fourth's heart beneath his hand. The quiet night wraps around them like a soft blanket, the only sound being the occasional rustle of the sheets as they both adjust to find that perfect comfort. Fourth's hand is nestled over Gemini's, their fingers naturally intertwining, a silent promise of togetherness.

After a while, Gemini can feel Fourth's breath deepen, his body relaxing into a gentle slumber. He smiles softly, content just to be in this moment, with Fourth so close, so safe. But just as he's about to follow him into sleep, he hears Fourth's voice again, barely a whisper.

"Gem..."

"Hm?" Gemini responds, half-drowsy, his thumb gently tracing the back of Fourth's hand.

"You really do make everything better," Fourth says, his voice warm and full of a softness that Gemini has come to treasure. "Even when everything feels like it's falling apart... you're always there to put it all back together."

Gemini's heart swells at the sincerity in Fourth's words. He gently shifts so that he can press a kiss to Fourth's forehead, his lips lingering there for a moment longer than necessary. "You make me want to be better," he says, his voice thick with affection. "I can't help it. I'll always do whatever it takes to see you happy."

Fourth lets out a quiet sigh, a soft, content sound. "I'm happy now," he says, curling into Gemini's chest once more, his fingers playing with the fabric of Gemini's shirt. "I'm happy with you."

Gemini's heart skips a beat. He presses his cheek to Fourth's head, closing his eyes and allowing the feeling of Fourth's love to settle over him like the most perfect kind of warmth. It's not about grand gestures or moments of dramatic romance. It's these small, intimate moments, the ones where they just exist together, that make everything feel so right.

"Sleep now," Gemini murmurs, gently nudging Fourth's face toward the crook of his neck. "You've had a long day. I'm right here."

"Mmm... I know," Fourth replies, a sleepy smile playing on his lips as he shifts into Gemini's arms, his body relaxing fully into the warmth of his embrace. "I love the way you always know exactly what I need..."

Gemini chuckles softly, brushing a strand of hair away from Fourth's face. "I just pay attention," he says quietly, his voice a soothing hum in the night. "And I'll keep paying attention, every day, for as long as you'll let me."

Fourth doesn't reply, but his grip around Gemini tightens, his face pressing deeper into the warmth of Gemini's neck. Soon, his breathing evens out again, slow and steady. Gemini follows suit, his fingers tracing gentle patterns on Fourth's back as he drifts into sleep, his mind filled with nothing but the quiet, unspoken bond they share.

In that peaceful silence, with the world outside forgotten, Gemini feels an overwhelming sense of gratitude. He didn't need anything more. Not tonight. Not when he had everything he ever wanted right here, in his arms.
