Araz POV-
All I could do was moan with pain, nod, and blink my eyes if I wanted to answer. Expressing my answer by twitching parts of my face was the only option. And yet I hated being so weak and fragile at a condition like this where everyone else needed medical attention yet I was another burden upon them. My sister had told me everything sense the moment I blacked out. The fact that the driver noticed my brother screaming for help and came with a few people to help to pick me up and take me inside the truck. And along came my brother Yukon and my sister. The truck only seemed like a truck but it was really petrol carrier. This was not in anyway to harm us, more like protecting us from bullets shot from outside. And we could only get in from the lid at the top, the lid was the only exit and that's why the truck was so humid with barely no air. I heard that we had cross the borders after long hours of [......] journey. And now we were further away in East Asia.As I became more aware of my surroundings after we were fed by the littlest amount we had ever been provided in our life just with bread and dry dates and half a glass of water to each person, even though I still thank god. But there was no medical attention at all to treat our wounds.
I noticed as the truck driver would shout where we were and if the area was safe or not. Some people would decide to leave and some would stay on not sure what to do or where to to go, anywhere as far as possible from our land.
Now there wasn't many people on the truck, only three to four groups of people huddled together as well us. No body made a comment during these long hour journeys, sense we all have the same reason and background to be here, the only times any would talk was out of nessecary, otherwise no one had the energy to make conversation. We only frequently stopped then and there only to fill the truck with petrol and for security check often through borders which flamed our heart with sickness every time thinking we would be surrendered and held captives again, but thank god the journey was smooth mostly. We had to stop at the last station because they would not let us through anymore between the border of Mongolia and China as it was said. So we all got out of the petrol truck and slipped down with difficulty and here we were, searched thoroughly up and down, the security searchers asked all of us questions but we had no answer since we did not understand a word of Mongolian, the translator who had only spoken a few word tried his hardest to make us understand of the question, we were treated very badly, as they thought we were bombers and explosives. We were held in custody for hours with watchful security eyes. We were rarely fed only to keep us alive for he interrogation.
After long hours of waiting came in an inspector with a better translator who explained to us the situation and asked us the necessary questions that was needed to be asked. After we told them everything and where we wanted to be they softened with each of our individual stories and gave us asylum in their country and the only thing that needed to be confirmed was our security and our case to be sent to the government. They asked us where we needed to go, everyone else said anywhere that can keep us safe and secure but us, although the pain of being away from our dear mother and father pained us, we were still unconscious of our safety so we said that we wanted to be as far as possible, end of the world as my sister had said, as far away from them (Taliban) as possible.
Then with honor and guiltiness at the same time they treated us with more meals and provided us with basic necessities which was very helpful.
They gave us information and direction of where to go and what cities are safe was guided by a well informed driver and a translator.
Us and another group agreed to our decision and wanted to be taken as far away from the borders as possible, so we were placed on a couch and said our good byes and wished best of lucks for one another by hugging and crying out of happiness that we were finally going to be rescued.
Long hours of journey we had in front so we went down to pack some more food and clothing as we could in order to survive the long journey. We passed through the borders of China and we were in China.mostly around the borders there was many lights and lands we could see, we often had searches but it wasn't so intimidating so the fear of being found again was faded, for now.
