Dayside College (Sun/Moon fnaf AU) (Probably won't update much)

Cassie, a busy person

By the time class had ended, Nova had warmed up, Moon became friendlier and Sonny had somewhat calmed down. The bell rung, signifying the end of class. She only had one class on mondays, so she took her time to pack up.

Sonny took notice, skipping his way to her desk, "Hello! What's your name, friend?"

Nova didn't know what she thought of him addressing her like a little kid, but she continued introductions, "Nova. You're Santi... or Sonny?"

He nodded vigorously, then started tapping his head, "Pretty name! I'm trying to commit everyone's names and faces to memory," his gaze drifted to her desk, "OH MY! Lovely drawings– can I look at your sketchbook?"

Quickly she glanced, seeing he had already started flipping through pages she shrugged, "Sure."

Distinctly he hummed a familiar tune: the daycare theme. She felt a small bit of homesickness but paid little attention. He only stopped to squeal at a specific drawing: "You know of the Pizzaplex?! The Sun and Moon animatronics?!"

That finally caught her attention. She started to say something, but the other assistant interjected, "Stop bothering her, Santi."

"MOON MOON MOON– SHE KNOWS OF THE PIZZAPLE–"

He snickered, "Another dork?"

Rude. She sighed, "No, I uh- I live there."

The blond was basically fangirling, jumping up and down with her drawing of the animatronics in hand, "You lived near there?!" Moon shook his head, again, irritated with his friend.

Nova giggled, finding it funny now, "No, I lived THERE. Like in there. The daycare attendants are basically like my second set of parents." Well, by technicality, third set. She had her biological parents, adoptive parents and THEN the attendants, but she didn't need to trauma dump on these guys. Moon's brow raised in slight intrigue while Sonny's jaw went completely slack. She was pretty sure his brain exploded. "Well I've got to go now. See you both tomorrow." Gathering the rest of her stuff she head out. She made her way casually to the dorms.

Hours later, Casie arrived, "I'm back!" She yelled up the stairs, "How was your first class of college?"

Nova grinned, looking up from the device in her hand, "good."

"Just, 'good'? I expected more details!" the brunette whined. She laid herself down on the sofa and turned to Nova, who sat at the dining table. Her stare persisted until Nova would speak again.

"It was good, okay? Well, entertaining to say the least. The real professor wasn't here for some reason so his assistants spent the time explaining the class and whatnot."

"Assistants?" Cassie wondered, "Professor Sharp actually got assistants? He's always independent— that's interesting... OH! Is it that duo? Passionate and Peevish? They were his favorite students last year."

The nicknames caught Nova off guard, where she burst out laughing, "Yeah that's them. Definitely." She dropped the technology in her hand before sitting on the sofa herself, "How was your day?"

Her best friend shrugged, "More engineering stuff—that professor already assigned a project, screw him— a safety reiteration lesson, and my art minor. Nothing different from last year." She stretched, as if her college life was easy. A major, three minors and a sport seemed wildly challenging to Nova.

Nova only partook in engineering, art (her one minor, which Sun insisted she do) and competitive parkour. Cassie did those things as well with cosmetics and psychology as her additional minors.

She nudged Cassie playfully with her whole body, "What about that boy you were interested in from last year?"

"Gregory? No, we're just frien—"

"I didn't say anything about him. Why, were you thinking something about him??" She waggled her brows teasingly. Face dusted with pink, Casie buried her face in her hands. "So you do like him! Makes sense, you see him in nearly every class! You're always talking about him: Greg this, Gregory that, blah blah blah..."

"Novs, shut up!" a pillow met her face with excessive force. A pillow fight— which Moon would not approve of— ensued quickly after.
