I'll Take Your Pain Away

Prologue

2013

My eyes suddenly opened and darted around the dark room. Nothing was to be seen for it was ptich black. I went to grab my throbbing head but, I wasn't able to. Something was holding down my arms preventing me from moving them. I tensed up and started panicking, I couldn't move my legs either. I sat upright as terrible aches and pains shot through my body. I had no idea where I was or why.

Suddenly, bright lights filled the room and I quickly shut my eyes; it hurt. Everything hurt. Then, I heard footsteps coming my way and slightly opened them. In the distance there was a blurr shaped like a man. I opened my eyes all the way as the figure got closer and closer. Terror overtook my mind. The man was somewhat close now, he stopped and starred. He was skinny and tall. His hair was short and spiked up, he wore jeans and a t-shirt. Hardly recognizable. Thats all I could make out; detailes were too hard to see. 

Right then he turned back around towards the door and reached to shut the lights off. I tried to speak but, nothing came out. "No, wait" I tired to scream but all that came out was whimpers. My throat was dry and my voice was no where to be found. And then it went back to darkness.
