December in cali. The winter breeze feels so clean, so cold so, annoying. Summer just ended between autumn, but i wish it came back as soon as possible.

I've missed summer. The tanning, the staying-in-ocean-till-late, the partying, the asking hot life guard guys their instagram, everything about it.

Now it all looks the same, but its hard to tan when its a little cold.

But, oh well im just here at work, Dunkin' Donuts, daydreaming hoping the days will fly faster.

My little sister walks in, she always expects to get free donuts here but tough luck girl, ya ain't getting it!

"Hey my favourite sister allieeee!!" She greets me cheerfully. "Bailey, no don't come here unless you'll buy something." I say.

"Ugh fine get me a latte!" She announces annoyed loudly as she sits down, even though we were the only ones here.

"3,49 please!" I smile asking her to pay as i start making her drink.

"Here shithead" i give her the drink and flop down next to her on the round couch, tired.

"Hey, you should start dating someone, as in like a rich guy, a sugar daddy so u don't have to spend your days here!," Bailey abruptly tells me.

"Bailey! Its fine my life is so boring i don't do anything nowadays. Im just counting down until the weather is warm again!," I say. I wasn't really needing a man, or was i? I don't know, im not that 'full-term relationship' kind of girl since my past relationships ended fast.

Mine and Bailey's parents are absent for a while, it's been a real struggle balancing social life, Bailey and keeping the rent with just my money off of Dunkin.

I try giving Bailey the most, since she doesn't have a father and mother figure. But she understands the situation as much.

After my shift, I drive us home sipping on a drink i made myself and Bailey eating left over donuts i didn't get to sell.
