Cherrie's life has been weird, ever since she found this little golden ball sitting next to her in her backyard, when she was reading a book, her back propped up against the tree behind her. She's suddenly got supernatural powers, but they're only activated at night, while she's asleep..For now. Most of the time, it happens in her dreams. One second, she'll be dreaming about puppies and unicorns, rainbows and cupcakes—but the other, she's suddenly with two people—a girl named Momo Ayase, and a boy named Ken Takakura - nicknamed 'Okarun' by Momo - and they're fighting aliens, and yokais! Oh, dear Lord, how is she supposed to deal with this?
And now, all of a sudden, her mom has decided that they're moving, and that she has to switch schools?! Oh, God. She's so not gonna fit in to this new school!! Augh!!
