It was a bitterly cold December day, and Jocelyn was watching the snow come down. Her mother was cooking vegetable soup. "Mom, can I go outside and play in the snow?" She asked.
"Sure, just put your coat and boots on," said her mother, stirring the soup.
Jocelyn scrambled to put her winter clothes on, and rushed out into the winter wonderland. She made a snow angel. Christmas was in two weeks. The December chilled nipped at her nose and ears.
"I think I'll build a snowman," she said. She rushed back inside, and got two potatoes for the eyes, a carrot for the nose, and a cherry Twizzler for the mouth.
The snowman magically came to life, but he sneered at Jocelyn.
"Uh, hello," she laughed, nervously.
"I am absolutely no Frosty!" He snarled. "What are you doing out here in the cold?"
"I just wanted to play in the snow," said Jocelyn. "I made you. You're supposed to be friendly."
"I ought to take you to my frozen prison, where you'll freeze to death!" The evil snowman said.
"No, please!" Jocelyn begged.
"Say good bye to your family, kid!" The evil snowman laughed, and Jocelyn stood there, like a lump on a log. But, all of a sudden, it stopped snowing, the sun came out, the temperatures started to rise, and the evil snowman started to melt.
"No!" The evil snowman howled. "Curse this warm up! I'll be back, you hear me?!"
"No you won't!" Jocelyn smirked. The evil snowman was now a big puddle. She quickly ran back in her house, and changed into her a light shirt, blue jean shorts, white socks, and blue Converse low tops. The evil snowman was never seen or heard from again.
