I woke up to the sound of something beeping
I cleared my vision and suddenly saw my mom wiping her tears
"M-Mom? A-Are you ok-k?"
My mom turned around with a worried expression but once she say me her face lit up
"EMILY!"
She hugged me tight
I smiled
"Mom, why am i in a hospital?"
"Don't you remember? "
"Last thing i remember was falling on the ground after opening the door.."
"Well, Josh was at the door and then i found you in his arms and he was worried sick, he said that you just fell."
"Josh? Fell? Well, i remember the falling part but Josh?"
"Yeah Josh, i even recall you calling me "Hotty"."
Josh came in and sat beside me bed
My mom looked us then smiled sweetly and left the room
"Why are you here? To make out with the nurse too?"
Josh giggles
"Well, the "Nurse" is a dude. So i'll pass."
I laughed
"Yay! Your laughing! I thought you'll be mad at me forever. "
"Well, not forever but i was mad at you. "
Josh looked at me
"Was. Not until you called me hot."
"I what? Did i really do that?"
I flushed in embarrassment.
"Yup! And you even did the "tssss" move."
"Oh my god."
I stuffed my pillow against my face while josh was laughing at how stupid i looked
"Its ok, you can come out now."
"No." I murmured
"C'mon.."
"No."
Josh tugged on the pillow, so i held it tighter.
"Wow, i cant believe the girl that has the guts to turn me down is now embarrassed."
I threw the pillow at him
"Now thats the smile i've been waiting for!"
I blushed again.
"Can you stop making me blush?"
He looked at me straight in the eye and tucked a stray hair behind my ear.
"Josh, did i mention that i just adore your eye color? I just get lost looking at them.."
Holy sh*t, did i just say that,
Once i realized what i sad i threw my hands over my mouth.
"Aww shucks, just my eye color? "
He pouted
NO, CAN I JUST KISS YOU NOW?
"Im not going to answer that."
"You don't need to, you already called
me hot earlier."
"That doesn't count, i was sick."
Just then a nurse came in.
"Emily, you can now leave. You are perfectly ok, just be careful."

Yay In-School suspension! Not.
I was on my way to school, walking all by myself feeling the cool breeze play with my hair.
Sometimes i just love being alone, clearing my head and all.
Passing through those tall steel gates reminded me of prison, aka school.
Once i laid foot on the hallways i remembered April.
Was she going to kiss josh again?
Bitch.
Was she going to threaten me again?
Bitch.
I was super nervous once i entered the principles office.
"Hello, emily. You're finally here. Today you will be sending the whole day in my office and if you have any class work or quizzes the teachers will send them. No talking. "
I made my was to the desk and realized that josh was at the other end
We both were facing the wall.

During the day, Mr.Parker left his office so we took the chance to start a conversation
Omce the door was shut we both turned around and faced each other
"Hello!" Josh said
"Im hungry."
I replied staring at the bowl of candy calling me to eagerly grab one .
"I dare you."
"Dare me to what?"
I looked at Josh, confused.
"Get that candy from Mr.Parkers desk."
Without hesitating, i stood up and tip toed to the desk, keeping an eye on the door .
I stole 3 candy bars. Two for me and one for josh
I quickly ran back to my desk and tossed the candy to Josh.
"Thanks!" Josh chuckled
"No Pro-"
Mr.parker barged in and cut me off, we both hid the candy and turn around as fast as possible
Mr.parker eyed both of us suspiciously, then continued to type on his computer.
Luckily his back was turned so Josh and I would turn around and try to signal each other.
The whole day just went by and eventually we went back home
Once i got to the door step, Josh stopped me and bent down on one knee and said
"Emily Peterson, will you marry me?"
Without thinking i replied
"YES YES YES"
He picked me up and twirled me around, and sealed my giggle with a kiss. A kiss that made me for-
