Previously in Part 2: The way she froze, the way her eyes darted to Jimin as if looking for some kind of help, I couldn't care less about her, but I knew one thing—she was holding it. That thing was all that mattered.

Before I could make my next move to take the gun from him, she did the one thing I knew she shouldn't—she ran.

continue part 3: JUNGKOOK POV

A  couple of the gunman's boys ran after her—I didn't wait before they could make it far, I yanked the gun from their bo this is the concss. I didn't just twist it out of his hand—I broke his wrist in the process.

The sickening crack was loud, his scream even louder.

I didn't flinch. I didn't care. Without hesitation, I aimed at his leg and pulled the trigger. Blood sprayed across the floor as he screamed and dropped to the floor, holding his leg

"Stay the f!ck down," I growled, pressing the barrel to his head. His face was pale, his eyes wide with terror.

Jimin stepped forward, his voice sharp and urgent. "She has the POWDER—if they catch her, we're done

Mingyu wasn't wasting time. He slammed one of the men into the wall, the man's head hitting with a sickening thud. Blood dripped down, and the guy crumpled to the ground.

Another tried to get past him, but Mingyu grabbed him by the collar and threw him across the room like a rag doll.

V let out a low chuckle from where he leaned against the wall, looking like he was watching some kind of twisted show.  "This is getting messy, Jungkook," he said lazily. "If you're gonna handle it, do it fast. Or I will."

They won't touch her," I said coldly, my voice like steel.

I looked at Mingyu. "You're with me.

Jimin, deal with the rest of these idiots.

V—stay and keep this bastard alive. He's not done yet.

V's smirk widened. "Alive, huh? Fine—but I can't promise he'll be in one piece.

I stepped over the gunman, blood pooling under him as he whimpered. The gun in my hand felt heavy, but I didn't care. Tossing it aside, I locked eyes with Mingyu, who was already waiting by the door.

"Let's go," I said, my tone cold and final.

We stepped into the hallway, her fading footsteps echoing ahead. She was running, clutching what belonged to me, and now, blood was going to be the price for that mistake.

She could run all she wanted—but no one ran far from me.

Her footsteps echoed ahead, frantic and uneven

The two men chasing her barely paid attention to me and Mingyu closing in behind them. Big mistake

The first guy didn't even realize what hit him. Mingyu reached out, grabbed him by the back of his neck, and slammed him into the wall so hard the crunch of bone was deafening

Blood splattered across the wall as his body crumpled to the ground like a broken doll

The second guy turned, eyes wide, fumbling for his weapon. Before he could pull it out, I was already there. I grabbed his wrist, twisting it until I heard the snap, his scream echoing in the hallway

"Too slow," I muttered, shoving him to his knees

Without a second thought, I aimed the knife in my other hand and plunged it into his chest
