Scene 1: CID Bureau

Jayvanti is pacing the floor, looking visibly upset. Daya is sitting on the other side of the room, equally fidgety. Neither has any idea what the other is going through.

ACP Pradyuman: (looking at Daya, who seems lost) Daya, kya baat hai? Itna chhup-chhup ke kyun baith raha hai?Daya: (sighs heavily) Sir. Uncle-aunty ne shaadi fix kar di hai. Mujhse poochhe bina!ACP Pradyuman: (smirks) To ab kya karna hai? Be a man, Daya. Ladki se mil lo ek baar.Daya: (horrified) Sir, mil lo? Main toh ab tak darwaze tod raha hoon, ab lagta hai shaadi ka mandap todna padega.

Scene 2: Jayvanti's Desk

Jayvanti sits with her head in her hands. DCP Chitrole notices her and walks over, puffing his chest proudly.

DCP Chitrole: (dramatic tone) Jayvanti! Tum CID ki officer ho. Ye chhup-chhup ke rona-dhona kya hai?Jayvanti: (suddenly hugs him and starts crying) Sir! Mumma-papa ne shaadi fix kar di hai. Mujhe bola sunshine resort jao ladke se milne.DCP Chitrole: (patting her back awkwardly) Arre arre! CID officer ho ya daily soap ki heroine? Ek baar mil lo. Tumhare boss ka hukum hai! (pauses) Chalo, aaj ke liye tumhe half-day leave deta hoon.Jayvanti: (sniffling) Sir, aap best hain! Aapne toh sach mein pitaji ka role poora nibha diya.DCP Chitrole: (proudly) Arre, yeh toh mera farz hai. Tum jao. aur jo bhi ho, mujhe update karna. Samjhi?

Scene 3: Sunshine Resort

Daya arrives first, looking as though he's walking toward his execution. Jayvanti walks in soon after, equally miserable. Both freeze when they see each other.

Jayvanti: (horrified) Tum?Daya: (equally horrified) Tum?!Their families are overjoyed to see them recognize each other.Jayvanti's Mother: (clapping) Arre wah! Tum dono toh pehle se hi ek doosre ko jaante ho? Kitni achhi baat hai!Daya's Aunt: (drew out an ornate box) Bas, ab der kis baat ki? Yeh meri maa ke zamane ke kangan hain. Aaj se Jayvanti meri bahu hai!Daya: (whispering to himself) Bahu? Pehle toh isse office mein tolerate nahi kar pa raha tha, ab ghar pe bhi?Jayvanti looks equally shocked as the bangles are slipped onto her wrist. Daya tries to protest, but his aunt gives him a glare that could rival the ACP's famous "fire stare."Daya: (whispers to Jayvanti) Mujhe lagta hai hum dono ke against ek national conspiracy ho raha hai.Jayvanti: (snapping back) Tumhare uncle-aunty aur mere parents ki planning dekh ke mujhe lagta hai ki inhe ek team bana dena chahiye.Daya's Aunt: (to Jayvanti) Beta, tumhe yeh kangan kaise lage?Jayvanti: (plastering a fake smile) Bohot. heavy lag rahe hain.

Scene 4: CID Bureau – The Next Day

Daya and Jayvanti avoid eye contact, trying not to let anyone suspect their "engagement." But Freddie, as usual, is suspicious.Freddie: (leaning over to Daya) Sir, aapke haath ka woh chhota sa mehendi ka daag kya keh raha hai? Shaadi-shuda vibes de raha hai!Daya: (stammering) Woh. woh toh ek case ke chalte hua tha.Jayvanti: (jumping in to change the subject) Freddie sir, aapko pata hai kal ka dhokha? Mujhe laga mere room mein bhoot hai, par woh toh aapke kharate the jo mujhe sunaayi de rahe the!Everyone laughs except Daya, who gives Jayvanti a look.ACP Pradyuman: (appearing suddenly) Kya ho raha hai? Sab itne relaxed kyun lag rahe hain?Daya & Jayvanti: (in unison, panicked) Kuch nahi, Sir!They exchange a brief look of understanding.

Scene 5: A Secret Pact

Later, in the file room, Daya and Jayvanti finally confront their awkward situation.Daya: (gritting his teeth) Hum dono ko yeh sab chupana padega. Kisi ko pata chal gaya toh team ka mazaak ban jayega.Jayvanti: (rolling her eyes) Tumhe kya lagta hai? Mujhe yeh shaadi bhi kisi secret mission ki tarah lag rahi hai.Daya: (chuckling) CID mein kaam karte hain, toh personal life bhi mission ban gayi hai.Jayvanti: (smirking) Tum agar time pe file dena seekh lo, toh shayad ek din husband material ban jao.Daya: (sarcastic) Aur tum agar itna argument karna band karo, toh wife material ban jaogi.Both glare at each other before reluctant shaking of hands seals their secret engagement with a silent agreement not to tell the team about it.

Closing Narration by ACP Pradyuman:
