The next couple hours were hectic for the Cline sisters. Madelyn was busy filming and Stella was writing songs

Stella went over to grab a snack and saw Chase talking with Rudy. Wow, he's handsome. She thought. What are you doing, Stella? You just got out of a relationship.

Stella faked a smile as she made her way up to the snack bar

"Hold on." Chase said as he walked over "Hey."

"Hi!" Stella said as she turned to face Chase

"You alright?" Chase asked as he looked at her

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Stella asked as she laughed softly

"You look like you've been crying." Chase said as he looked her over before his eyes looked back to hers "You sure you're alright?"

Stella nodded as she looked at him while she struggled to fight back her tears

"You're not alright, are you?" Chase asked under a whisper

Stella let out a tearful laugh as she shook her head no "I don't know. Maybe if I gave more, someone would stay."

"You shouldn't have to do that. You deserve better." Chase said as he looked down at her "I'll be damned if someone doesn't want you for you." He shook his head as he looked at her "You deserve someone who can stay."

"But who?" Stella asked as she looked up to him

Me. Chase shook his head at the thought that came up before he spoke again "The right one will come along. You just have to wait."

Stella nodded up to him as she smiled softly "Thank you, Chase."

Chase nodded before he spoke again "I have to go film, you'll be okay?"

"Yeah." Stella said as she looked up at him

"Good." Chase said as he pulled back "I'll see you soon, princess." He chuckled before he walked off to film

Princess. The way Chase had called her that made chills go down her spine

Madison saw Chase eyeing Stella before she nudged him with her elbow "Chase, what're you doing?"

"Nothing, Mads." Chase said as he looked over at Madison

"You're looking at Stella, aren't you?" Madison asked

"Yeah. I know she just got out of a relationship but I can't help it." Chase said as he ran a hand over his face, groaning

"You like her, don't you?" Madison asked

"Well, yeah. She's gorgeous and wants someone who can stay." Chase groaned as he looked at Madison "And I really want to give that to her."

"Give it time, Chase. She'll be ready when her heart is." Madison said as she placed a hand onto his shoulder

Chase nodded as he sighed "You're right, Maddie."

Madison gave him a smile as she nodded "Just don't rush it, unless you want Madelyn to smack you."

Chase laughed and snickered "I won't, Mads."

Madelyn walked in with both Johnathan and Rudy "Why would I smack Chase?"

"I-." Chase said before he felt Madison smack him on the back of his head "Ow! Fuck sakes, Mads. What was that for?"

"No reason." Madison said as she snickered "Anyway, Maaads. Chase has a crush on your sister."

"On Stella?" Madelyn asked

Chase nodded as he spoke again "Yeah, I know I shouldn't considering she's your little sister and she just got out of a relationship but I can't help how I feel around her."

"She'll start to trust you. She's just been really hurt by Harry." Madelyn said

"What did he do?" Chase asked

"Well, you didn't hear this from me. She wanted kids and he didn't. She tried to stay until that point but Harry didn't give that feeling that she's been wishing for. Even tried giving more than a person should, it got to the point where they fought and broke up." Madelyn said

Chase felt his jaw clench slightly and his hands ball into fists before he shut his eyes and opened them up after taking a deep breath "That bastard."

"I just want her to be happy. But give her time." Madelyn said as she looked at Chase "If you break her heart, I will not hesitate to break your face."

Chase put his hands up in defense as he chuckled "I wouldn't dream of it."

"I'll be watching you, Stokes." Madelyn said

"Yes ma'am." Chase said as he saluted

Johnathan snorted "Getting scolded by Madelyn without even dating her sister, damn Chase." He laughed "You got it in for you, Stokes."

Chase chuckled as he shook his head "Lord save me."

Rudy laughed as he looked over at Chase "Chase has a cruuuush!"

"I do not." Chase said as he blushed

Madelyn squealed "You do! You're blushing!"

Chase laughed as he waved her off "I'm not. I'm just hot."

"Hot in looooveee!" Madelyn teased

"Am not." Chase said as he chuckles

"Try to deny it man, you are." Johnathan said as he chuckled

Stella walked over "Hiii. What's going on here?"

"Uh, Chase was showing us something he found on his phone." Madison said quickly. Nice save, Madison

Stella looked puzzled but nodded anyway "Did he now? What was it?"

Crap. Think of something good, Chase. "Uh, that new Taylor Swift album, right guys?" Chase asked as he looked at the others

"Oh, right! Duh!" Madelyn said as she laughed

Stella laughed as she nodded "So you're a fan of Taylor now?"

Chase nodded slowly as he looked at her "Yeah."

Stella chuckled as she nodded slowly

It was late at night and Chase was at home, laying in bed, looking up to the ceiling in thought. I've never felt this way for anyone before. She's so beautiful and so deserving of the world, and so deserving of love. I would like to give her that feeling. What're you saying, Chase? She probably doesn't feel the same about you. Just pretend that you don't have a crush on her

Chase soon pushed the thought of being with Stella out of his head and went to bed, pulling the bedsheets over his body to sleep in them
